It's on again!

Been talking to the people over at Nicks about a match between our forums in early December. At first they weren't keen as a few of their players appeared to have been sunburnt badly from the round robin and haven't recovered all that well.

However, I suggested that we play earlier in the day to avoid most of the heat and they seemed to like the idea.

So at this stage we'll be playing on a Sunday on either Dec 6 or 13 and most likely an 11am start. Venue will be decided shortly.

If any of you are wanting to play please let me know as soon as possible so we can start putting a team together.

Don't think, do! Because you know you'll want to be part of this when we smash them all over the park!!!

FYI the main sunburn hours (and thus the hours you should be out of the sun) are between 10am to 3pm.

Work permitting I'll be there. Christmas always throws up a few extra shifts here and there and with it being a new job I'm keen to impress.

Fingers crossed I can make it... Not for the team's sake, because I'm average at best...

not for me... I burn to a crisp regardless. I have very fair skin and blue eyes.... the sun doesn't like me.

Make sure the teams rabies shots are up to date PJ.

And let the other mob know that the Salvo's often give out sunscreen, thats if the St Kilda supporters haven't snaffled it first.

Love your work, Mark. Waddaya reckon? Pull on the boots one more time and sit in a pocket?

Seems the Pies want the 13th of December. Thoughts?

I love you.

Just had a look over at Nicks and they are getting some fair old numbers together. I even read that one 'Joffa Corfe' has put his hand up for a run.

His inclusion alone should be enough to bring every man and his dog on here out of the wood work and lining up to knock his head off.

I'm in. I'll also ask the Ridler, Codemaster, Danny O and let you know.

Sweet. Cheers, Jim.

Getting together a reasonably good list at the moment.

At this stage a venue hasn't been arranged. Probably a toss up between VP and Gosch's Paddock.

If anyone has any other suggestions, by all means put them up.

There are a couple of grounds out my way i.e. Vermont area, that are available and have goal posts up on them. However, not sure if anyone is keen on coming up this way for a game of footy.
