Russell and Caro were discussing possibility of Fev being sanctioned by the League.

Russell asked Caro if Brisbane knew of the sexual assault allegations before trading for Fev. You could almost hear him preparing to say that Carlton should be the ones penalised because the Lions had been duped.

Caro said "yes they knew" and Russell was reduced to a very quiet "oh".

It was beautiful.

At this point in time a suspension is about a 1 in 100 chance.

BTW, has anyone else been suspended for beating up a women, or is it only a possibility because it was at an AFL function?

3AW were saying that all that was needed was for a few witnesses to come forward and they could act on that. Fev didnt beat up a woman, that is not the allegation. The AFL wont let this just go away quietly.

The one week suspension by Adelaide was a joke. If the AFL do act upon this then Fev is in a bit of trouble.

The double standards amaze me..... If he was still a Carlton player everyone would be champing at the bit to get him suspended for the entire season of 2010.
