Hey Sticksaftersiren87

You are a most reliable source when it comes to the release of fixturing details. When are the AFL likely to release 2010 and can you give a clue as to whether Carlton v Brisbane at the MCG for Round 4 when Juddy returns is a possibility? It would usually be at Etihad but methinks they might pull a bigger crowd than 50k.

In a continuation of last years excellent "draw" and in the spirit of "crowds are up, ratings are up", we'll probably play Brisbane about 5 times in the 2010 H&A season

Not if we're 0 and 3.

Yep, we'll miss Judd, agreed. Hopefully won't be 0 and 3 though.

If we can't be at least 2-1 after R3 then we don't deserve to challenge for top 4.

Who cares who we play.

We have five months to plan how to win those three games without 25        etc and 5 :yikes:

Plan it, prepare for it, execute it.

Looks as though we will be on Thursday night for the first two rounds. Season opener v Richmond I assume is our home game followed by Easter in Brisbane.

Sticksaftersiren87 how does our draw shape up in regards to who we only play once?

I have no info st all about the draw but I can tell you this
we play everyone once so that's 15 rounds
we will play Richmond bombers and pies twice so that's 18 rounds
we play brissy round 2 so there is a fair chance we will play them twice
of the remaining 3 rounds one will be against Port another against west coast and the last one will be one of Saints cats bulldogs or swans

let's see how close I get

We only played the Demons and Kangaroos once this year so fingers crossed we get them twice next year.

I think Carrarra is having a major face lift so I'm not sure if any games will be there next year

Freo - WC - Rich - Bombers - Pies - Lions - cats all twice - It means two trips to the west - Most likely one to AAMI - one at the Gabba and one at the SCG - 5 at worst 6 interstate - not a bad draw if you ask me
