What is the rule re this ?

Is because the suspension occurred in a final mean NAB cup games aren't counted as games served.

What is the rule with serving suspensions in the NAB Cup ?

The suspension rules were changed a few years ago, because missing only pre-season competition games in place of regular season games was seen as too lenient a penalty.

No, not :screwy: .....his offence was for season '09....so Brownlow eligibility for season '10 is unaffected. As we had been knocked out of the finals, he has to serve his suspension in the next season "proper" ie Season '10. NAB Cup is not season "proper" so he is allowed to play then.

If we had played all finals he would have been unavailable for the GF, but available for R1 next year.

Yeah i understand all that. I just think it's a bit strange that's all. I'm not a big fan of the system to be honest with you.
