Totally agree. Let's celebrate his career because he had to endure some of the worst defeats over the years playing for the blues

there's some good news re nick stevens payout update effect on TPP in jake niall's article on carlton's link to bradshaw ...

seems the AFL has agreed in pricipal to our proposal to have stevo's 2010 salary counted in our 2009 TPP. there's a bit of wrangling over stevo's marketing component still to iron out, but if this gets the rubber stamp then we'll have loads of TPP room next year ...

Yeah, saw that article a few moments ago.

Good luck, Nick.

You were a champion when our team needed it. Was deserved of captaincy but bad timing got in the way.

Good luck with the next stage of your life.

Always enjoyed Stevo's work. In the top 3 of our most skillful and will be missed. (perhaps not by all...)

Always remember the day he tore us to shreds at Optus Oval while with Port, at least 40 possies. Also the day he kicked the winning goal from outside 50 in the wet against Essendon*. And the corker of a goal, left foot from the boundary line in his last game.

All the best Nick.

Always liked Stevo. Has a beautiful kick on him and although I don't think he was ever the same after his original neck injury he has been an important part of Carlton since joining.

In regards to the payment has it been announced weather his salary will be included in next years Salary Cap or not?

A good player you were.

All the best landscaping mate.

To all the previous and current downers on him, give him and yourselves some dignity.

The AFL should change the draw so that Carltons first home game in 2010 is against Port Adelaide

Couldn't take a contested mark to save himself, but could still carve it up on the football field like the son of satan...
