I played footy this year at CHB so I wouldn't mind that position or whatever else suits. James Bond Jnr normally plays as a forward pocket. And put down James Bond Jnr 3rd as an emergency cause he's slightly injured. I'll speak to my mate "The Ridler" and "Codemaster" over the next couple of days (they played the last game) to see if they're available.

i played FP/HFF in my footy season last year (didnt play this year). Had a few stints in the middle and also got tried at HBF for a bit of pace and run. happy to go anywhere.. but probably not as fit as i was during footy season, so will probably only last for short stints in the middle.

i actually wouldnt mind FP because i used to snag a fair few goals from being a third tall up, because none of my opponents expected me to have such a big leap an/or good hands...

Hey all, hurt my wrist snowboarding 10+ weeks ago... and it's still not good. Going back for more scans tomorrow (after all this time might still be fractured).

If scans show nothing (and I've just been soft all this time) then count me in, happy for FB/BP or where required. B-I-L who played last time (rucked for half the game) broke his big toe kickboxing last week so he's a no-go.

Cheers, Ryan.

Don’t want to be a wet blanket…

But we have no venue…

And the pies have no organiser the other teams can speak to…

At this stage, I doubt this thing can happen…

I have asked the blues and saints organisers to ring me, and am waiting to hear…

Regards,

rollo…

Glenferrie oval an option?

We have played there plenty of times before.

ground is as hard as concrete, fullmont...

even that small rugby/soccer training ground near gosch's park would be a better option...

but my despairing post has finally fired-up the pies - we now have a bloke we can talk to, they may be willing to play at gosch's park, and they are still hoping for vic park to be available...

more news soon...

(barnesy, I am on the road with work but am available, and will keep you updated, by sms)...

regards,

rollo

Perhaps postpone it to a later date?

no need for pessimism at the moment...

pies are hoping to secure vic park because of likely delay in re-surfacing works...

if that fails they assure us that gosch's will have goal posts by game day...

Spoke to Ridler, he might be play if another engagement he has lined up doesn't go ahead. If he can't play then Daniel O (plays wing & ruck) will play. Codemaster will play (centre or hff). I'll confirm about the Ridler closer to the date. Cheers AB.

We need to start firming up basic positions in the next week or two so we are not rushed- only two and half weeks to go.

I'm out, almost 11 weeks after doing the injury I've finally been diagnosed with a fractured scaphoid... might need it surgically pinned now. Awesome.

Good luck Boys.
