The way i see it..............

"a blessing in disguise is a good thing that you don't recognise as a
good thing at first.....(example)..the hotel is full tonight...
we'll have to find a new place to stay.....maybe it's a blessing in disguise....
i've been wanting to try a new place anyway....some people believe
good things are really "blessings"....that we don't always recognise for what they
are at first.......(example).....i lost my job and i was upset at first.....but i
found a better one...and have been much happier since......so....
losing your job was a blessing in disguise"..............!



see...the thing is............i didn't make any of this up............
it's an idiom.......a colloquial metaphor if you will.............and one that
we as a culture have used for many years............!

why...........?

cos it's so very true............!

look.........at the end of the day.....i don't have an axe to grind.......
and really...an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure......
but i still think we have an ace up our sleeve........!
