Thats Kernahan

And why would he
Swann
Judd
Ratten
allow a guy with a drinking problem, the most important player at the club, the guy that was told that another bad episode and your out and he is on 1.5 million and not do anything but stand and watch the carnage

beggars belief as much as fev's behaviour in a different way.

It highlights the biggest problem i see this club having.
A lack of vision of what might or what is likely to happen.

The next 2 years are huge for this club. Why
Pratts influence will fade
We have problems with our forward line
We will have to change our game plan
Our membership will be effected
How does the club change that

Big next 2 years for mates Ratten and Kernahan

Should Tony Jones ask whether Channel 9 are investigating the Fev incident seeing he was working for them at the Brownlow?

Sticks was terrible and should never have fronted the cameras.
Anyone hear Fev speak today? He spoke really well and only had good things to say about Carlton. Will miss him.

Quote:
"The club has acted. We had a board meeting just after, on that night," Kernahan said.

"The alleged happenings, I don't know if they've happened … The club's looked into it and it is what it is.

"That's why we've made the call that we have. It was a big part of it."

When asked if Carlton had felt compelled to investigate, Kernahan said: "I think it's already been looked at by other parties.

"It's an alleged thing and the AFL are looking at it. I don't want to go into it ... I don't want to be involved in that at the moment.

"As I understand no charges have been laid. Have people looked into it? Yes they have and we've known about an alleged action and I don't know what else to say about it. It's ongoing, if it is going at all.

"We've had issues with Brendan over the years as you know, it's been well documented. I saw it on The Footy Show that's all I've seen of it.

"I think it goes a bit deeper than that, we've had a lot of issues with Brendan and this just pushed us over the line and we put him up for trade and got the deal done today.

"Brownlow night didn't look good for our footy club but I think the club's acted in an appropriate way.

"We were disgusted with what went on, so was Brendan and I think the club, it's pushed us over the edge and we've acted."

Made George W. Bush look like Churchill.

Turned a potential good news day for Carlton into being the butt of everyone's jokes again.

I love you Sticks, but I mean this in the nicest possible way - Piss off!!!

Can we get 100 signatures now and get rid of this clown!!!

What a joke!

If not for Swann our club would be in the complete control of incompetent has-beens!

I don't think our media manager would have done much better.

What good is a media manager who can't manage the media? :?

When Tony Jones kept pushing and pushing; I kept wishing for an articulate and eloquent reply of "Fevola was working for

your TV Network Tony.......why didn't you pull the plug and remove his microphone before it got out of hand?"

some of you guys might be surprised at how inadequate some people are (at all levels) when you stick a camera in their face.

Sticks is obviously no exception, but believe me I've seen worse.

And just to confirm, Tony Jones is a gutter rat. Would sell his gran.

So how was it that Swann allowed Sticks to face the media rather than going himself?

It was embarrassing.

But what really pisses me off is that when Mark Doran advised listeners that sticks was going to have a press conference this afternoon I was already concerned he would struggle.

This Fev issue is massive, there was always going to be tough questions about that infamous night.... and what does Carlton do? Have sticks lead the press conference. He struggles at the best of times let alone in this situation.

You could see this coming

Just like Judd copping another week to his initial 2 weeks. :screwy:

We need strong leadership now, a spokesman, someone that can get members and supporters back on side.

The trade is great for us we now need someone to sell it to the disgruntled! Sticks should have NEVER been put in front of the press.

Jones pushed cos he knew he could push a banana.... and he took Sticks to a place where other presidents have never been exposed....

Were talking about a bogan dressed up as president...

I'm confused as to how anyone got "we did nothing" out of that. There's nothing more we can do? Sure. But when you mention the AFL, and infer the police are investigating, what are you supposed to do? Re-fit the footy club into a detective agency?

I'm also confused how it's damning for two figure heads of a football club to know exactly what happened when none of the people directly involved are saying anything.

See this is the problem, Tony Jones and a few other media personalities have walked around spouting nonsense with a condescending tone, and you take a little rambling as a confession. Maybe listen to the words a few times through please children.

What a day...

Sticks is a legend of the CFC; and doesn't deserve to be called a bogan ........by anyone......let alone a supposed Carlton supporter.
