But I can't see him changing. So in my view a decision had to be made, or else the Club just looks weak.

not sure if youre following and paying attention..... but fev isnt wanted around the club... when you lose your team mates youre not an asset...

Teen Spirit there are many who agree with the sailor man. I think some of reactions to fev being officially put up for trade is fascinating given blind Freddy could see it happening. He has made his bed and now he has go lie in it.

People getting angry at the club blow me away. Fev is once again clearly innocent of any wrong doing.

..some posters really make me shake my head in disbelief.. ..how the hell are ppl still trying to pin all of Fev's wrong-doings on other ppl.. ..he's been given plenty of chances, and while i think we've been too soft for too long, finally Fev crossed the line.. ..sure, i understand how star players get given more leeway, but Fev exhausted his extra tolerances a few times.. ..and bottom line, bottom line!! is that IF fev has burnt bridges with his team-mates.. ..we need to get rid of him.. ..even if we get Nothing in return..

I seem to recall hearing similar statements when Jezza departed under controversial circumstances in 1979.

Hang on a second. You're making it sound like Greg Swann gave Fev free tickets to a nightclub opening or something. It was the Brownlow Medal dinner... black tie, AFL's night-of-nights... the most important off-field function in the AFL. He was there representing our club as the reigning Coleman medallist and All-Australian full-forward. Not only that, Fevola was there representing his other employer, Channel 9.

But sure. It's all Greg Swann's fault that Fev is too stupid to understand any of that, and got so pissed he did a whole bunch of things that he should regret for years to come.

Couldn't agree more. It's everyone's fault but Fev ... TFS, Crown, Judd, now Swan. Unbe-flowerin-lievable!

I love it how people are looking to blame everyone but Fev for this incident. It's exactly the same as WCE supporters who blame Judd for their fall from grace but still love Cuzzy even though he was the reason the whole place imploded.

People need to get a grip and realise how much you look like Richmond supporters right now, with all you delududed petitions and threats.
