West Coast 2005-2006:
Judd, Kerr, Cousins, Embley
+ Cox, the best ruckman of the modern era

Geelong 2007+

St Kilda 2009:
Hayes, Dal Santo, Goddard, Montagna

These groups are 'fab fours'. We're on the way to reaching that level, but not there yet.

I think you may have forgotten one Donstuie...

Carlton - 1995
Williams, Bradley, Ratten (Carlton B & F '95), Kouta (All Aust '95)
+ Justin Madden

+ Fraser Brown

I'm an idiot :donk:

Not to mention the backline
McKay Dean Christou
Rice/Whitehead Silvagni Sexton

Well I think everyone should keep in mind
Brock Mclean (melb) will not be the same player as Brock Mclean (carl)

Brock Mclean (carl) >>>>> Brock Mclean (melb)

or at least thats the way it should be.
He has been playing in a terrible team, being asked to play negative roles, and clearly hasn't been happy there.
He is coming into a team which is going to have at least some degree of success.
He will be surrounded by one of the best midfields in the comp.
His career should be reborn with us, he has a fresh start, and I think in that alone he has huge huge potential

My Demon mate is devastated. Brock was his favorite player.

I think he will be very good for us. Really like Hadley also but not sure if they can play in the same team.

McLean will be very handy, especially if Hadley finds top fitness they'll be able to get better supply to the outside players like Murphy and hopefully Judd.

Brock is a great fit for our midfield, as he he will be able to get the ball out of packs, freeing Judd up. We could see how useful Hadley was becoming at the end of the season, and I rate Brock more than Hadley. I think we will find our midlfield balance and structure will be a lot better as a result, and Judd hopefully won't have his career shortened by having to do everything.

Plus having a fairly hardened, big body in there won't hurt either, especially if Fev is around to fly the flag.

It would not surprise me if Brock changes his mind now Fev is gone.

If that was the case, then good riddance.

I can see why he wouldn't want to play with Judd, Gibbs, Murphy, Kreuzer.
