I`ve got the same concern. Nathan Thompson would be a good get IMO.

Not a Fan? He has coaching experience, got a lot out of himself as a player and seems insightful as a commentator.

Get tom elliot, he's pretty good on Inside Business.

I think we should get Dennis Commetti.

He's one of my favourite commentators.

Wouldn't mind Chris Johnson. He was the development coach at the Lions, and their progress is a good reference for him. Says he wants to come back to Victoria and work with young indigenous players. Given Yarran is our great white hope, it makes sense to get a guy who can help to tap his potential.

He'd be great for guys like Anderson Browne Armfield Russell O'Keeffe who are our attacking defenders. Would be a perfect fit.

I reckon we should try to find a personalised coach with exactly the same name for EACH player on our list. Eg, Chris Johnson for Chris Johnson, etc. It would have some harmony and synergy and might be just what we need.

RL's Bryce Gibbs has good pro sport experience and would be ideal for our Bryce.

(Top of the list is obviously to find someone called Brendan Fevola who could assist us with Fev....)

Kouta would probably be best off learning the caper under someone else and then to be assigned an assistant coaching role.

I've got a radical idea...

Why don't we try and find an assistant coach (or 2) who have been assistants at successful clubs, maybe a club that might have even won a flag? You know, someone who may actually be able to bring some ideas, thinking, planning, structures from a club which have actually been used to gain success?

Nah, too radical.

Are these 2 simply moving on or have they been moved on?

GET VOSS! NO, GET BUCKLEY!!!

Yeah, nah, I agree with you. A thought I was reminded of when watching Nigel Lappin celebrating in the Geelong coaches box after the game on Saturday.

Both were commentators.
