Well, I don't know what "push the button" means. Can't see how, when someone posts that they have a list of misdemeanours as long as your arm, there's a problem asking for it. But if that's the rules, that's the rules.

There's still a lot of water to go under the bridge on the Fevola issue.

A yearly binge is not chronic behaviour. If it is, head down to the Cattery and tell them to put their players on sale because around this time for the past three years I guarantee you would have found more than a few cats slurring their purrs. My point is a lot of players in all football codes across the country let their hair down at the end of the season. Some know when to stop, some don't. But either way, reporting on it is a joke without something more!!

If we're talking Fev the person, then I think it's pretty clear he's improved markedly on what he was like early on. On the field and off. If the Club feels it can't manage him anymore, if the culture isn't strong enough to support a guy like Fev then I'll accept that. But that won't be because I think it's the best thing for Fev - abandoning a teammate/employee with a drinking problem isn't generally the best approach for personal development. No, it'll be because team comes first. But I really can't see that anything has changed since Ireland a few years ago to merit that decision by the Club.

I think they should leave us alone and concentrate on buttering up Swann.

Correct. People can't be bothered reading TC anyway.

Is the doco "The Draft" anywhere on youtube? From memory it was Fevola, Rama and Headland as the featured players?

Oh as if. I looked it up, Tom Alvin is NOT a registered player agent. He IS, however, a principal at a major public relations company (he inherited it off Laurie Kerr, who adopted him at a young age, Tom having been raised by wolves). And he IS a highly articulate fellow. The long hair was a ruse to make his corporate adversaries underestimate him, enabling him to engage them in clever corporate ju-jitsu.

I remember having an argument/conversation with Denis a few years ago when Fev was in a similar position at trade time.
I didnt want Fev traded but wanted Lance traded... Denis was going to keep Lance this time and trade Fev "For the right trade"... of course noone wanted him then either...

But he reeled of a list of misdemeanours as long as your arm .. that hadnt 'come out '..and the club had kept hush hush... problem with Fev is when is enough enough????

Every Carlton coach starting from Parkin to Dennis has tried to trade Fev. You have to ask why ? Swan's no fool, decisions to trade players of Fev's talent are not made on whims and fancy.

Carlton won't trade Fevola.

MASSIVE chance he won't be at Carlton next year.

I think Fevola will stay.

The decision has been made, he's gone.

My impression is he'll still be at Carlton next year.

Latest I have heard is:

a) Club are angry (who would have thought?)

b) May look to trade, but the logistics will make it difficult

c) Board hoping the clubs leadership group give him a Steve Johnson-esque suspension to begin next season.

hmm, doctors have an alarming tendency to be articulate - I'm watching you, college boy.

you know who else is articulate IsDonIsGeorge? My father. His name is George too! The plot thickens.

Then again, the only Don I know is remarkably taciturn. Confound it, will this web of deceit ever be unwound?

Heywaitaminute - taciturn? who says "taciturn" FFS? Dear lord, could it...is it.....IT IS!

I'm the Manchurian Candidate! I've been programmed by the commies to infiltrate TC....

Now verbs, why didn't you just say so earlier...that clears it all up for me!

either trade him, or ban him from all functions.

It hurts us if he is on the list and not playing surely?

How do players feel about him and his antics?

For the most part they thought seeing Patrick Swayze was still warm that it was in pretty bad taste.

So it's BlueMark who's behind all of this...
