I'm not quite sure you have covered your backside enough with that paragraph.....perhaps you could expand on it some more.

..heh, you hopin' i covered it less so yer can get a good look ya big pervy..!!..

..actually, i'm just bein' forth-right i thought.. ..i'm not one of those posters that will say something, and then stick to said statement come hell or highwater, no matter what changes in the meantime.. ..i said what i thought at the time, and as time rolled on and things changed, i too changed my thoughts and impressions regarding Yazz.. ..just cos i was unsure early on, doesn't mean i can't rethink my judgement as Yazz himself has shown his desire to stay and apply himself.. ..unlike some, i'm not clued into the internal workings, i have no insider sources.. ..i can only go on what i see, and what i read from posters [posters which over time i've come to realise have some info/source, not goin' by posters with as much info as myself]..

..so, it's not about coverin' my own arse, it's more about just explaining my thought processes.. ..it's silly for ppl to make a judgement, and then not revisit their own judgement as things change over the course of the season..

In your dreams. Neither of them has the stamina for a start, nor the disposal skills by foot.
Stevens will be replaced by someone like Walker and I think someone like Griggs will replace Scotland off half back, although hhe hasn't got Scotland's tank. Very few players going around do.
Ando and Browne are fringe players at best ATM and would more be looking at Wiggo's spot. Or Armfield's.

That's a fair assessment imo BS.

Engines like Scottos take years to build. Ando and Browny run well but have only been around for a minute. Plenty of upside for the 2 of them but not near stars of the game.

Joey Anderson could make it. Theres certainly some upside, has great dash and is proving himself a star at VFL level. He has big question marks though about his disposal by foot and i think if he makes his way into the 22 it would be as a dashing half back or wingman. Though Bower has that role at the moment and Armfield is getting that gig for now. Warrants another season.

As for Chris Yarran, i reckon he would have gotten just 7 or 8 touches yesterday, but every one of them a gem. Was tagged heavily and struggled but once he gets a bigger engine I think you'll see a very fine footballer, as David Rhys Jones said, will be a future star in the AFL.

Yeah i agree No1 he really does have sublime skills.
A full pre-sesson under his belt will do him wonders.

If St Kilda had a "Yarran type" player they would have been the 2009 premiers.
Milne and Schneider's lack of class/polish up forward really hurt the Saints yesterday.
Somehow I think Yazz will be a valuable commodity for us in years to come.
Livewire 18 year old Carlton half forward Chris Yarran, who booted 5 goals in the preliminary final against Port Melbourne, damaged his quad in the first quarter and was held in check by North Melbourne rookie Marcus White.

"Yarran wasn't right and he came off three or four times," Teague said. "He didn't have much impact".
