Barring any injuries he'd be a good chance to crack 100 goals in 2010 now.

I think he will kick 150. And go all Paul Hudson circa 1971 Grand Final trying to get 151.

Mod material right there methinks.

As for further sanctions...I'm pretty sure that the Carlton hierarchy will be trying to persuade Fevola himself to part company with Channel Nine. It's something the club can't really control, but I expect them to get into Fev's management very soon. The Kleiman's owe Carlton a favour or two...might be time to remind Mark of that this week.

Not surprising. We wouldn't have received diddly squat for him from anyone else, and obviously delisting him doesn't really do us much good. So those of you who'll be gloating over 'storm in a teacup' and all that, the club was left with very little choice. I don't give a rat's toss what people say, the Carlton Football Club has been embarassed by Fev, and have been forced to look like soft-cocks so that he doesn't cost us more, and I hope they are actually fair dinkum this time in any restrictions they place on him. In fact, I'd go as far as saying I hope the club has made it clear that they will bury him if he does this again.

And FFS Swanny, next time you put a "get pissed and you're out" clause in a bloke's contract, actually go through with it! :banghead:

Good to see Sticks and Ratts vigorously throwing the wet lettuce leaf around.
Next he'll be smacking Brendans bottom and sending him to bed without supper.

Weak as piss....but not unexpected.

Not too many forwards around who've kicked 180 goals in the last 2 seasons.......he's the last player (with Judd) who they would sack.

You don't trade a first round pick for Brock Mclean because you think our window is now to then go and give away your match winning full forward.

If Fev were put up for trade I'd say all bets were off re McLean.

In a strange way, if we hadn't taken Judd in 07 and kept Kennedy, 3, 20 Fev would probably have been traded by now.

I am glad the club hasnt given up on Fev. I feel a this has been a life changing week for Fev. Together we can make him a better person and the club a better club.

Four weeks in the Rezziez next year to earn back the players respect and a good public apology along with the embarrassment of this week should be punishment enough.

So..........we're then looking at the first 3 games without Fev and Judd?............

Yeah, it's great to beat our chests and brag about our strong principles and standards.....but of course they only apply to the average players.
Weak and embarrassing.

Doesn't mean much, of course, but David Schwarz reckons Fev has played his last game for Carlton. I guess we'll find out for sure within a couple of weeks.

My concern is that he's done something much worse than we've seen. The footage to date is a bit average, but IMO, not a hanging offence. So, I dare say we could be only getting part of the picture. :yikes:

I'll only believe this rumour if it originated in Mill Park

At least he didn't kick a taxi driver and get arrested. Of course we'll never hear about that incident to a young innocent rising star.

In their defence, Fev has a track record and is 28 years of age. Hurley is a kid in his first season.
