Now guys please dont shoot me down here because for 1) I am totally not in favor of this and 2) It's a rumour ok (and we all know how 99% of these turn out). But I just heard that the Carlton Board have met this morning to discuss Fevola and the word is that it was 100% unanimous that the club will trade Fev. Sticks , Swann and co have ratified the decision and he will now be out up for trade.

Is anyone hearing the same?? Please tell me this is total BS

I hope its true. His attention seeking and selfisness hurts the development of our younger players and will prevent us becoming an elite unit.

Personally I believe that the club will investigate the trade option.

If he was a certainty to stay, we would no doubt have imposed a game suspension to go with the $10K fine. No point doing that if he's not at the club, so a trade is on the cards.

If we were going to trade him, why not give him a club imposed suspension? Makes the club look good for acting decisively, but costs us nothing in real terms

According to this article, the Club has no choice but to terminate Fevola's services. That was the agreement back in March last year.

It'd be like taking your dog to the vet to get the green dream because he bit the neighbours kid.

The agreement was changed later in the year.

Fevola refused to sign his contract with a termination option included in it.

WTF. It comes across as some of you have nothing else going on in your life that you'd actually make such such a non drama just to fill a void in your life.

He got pissed, made a fool out of himself, is remorseful and he's copping his fair for it. END OF STORY

That maybe so, however Swan also admitted earlier this week that there was no alcohol clause in his contract.

I can't see them trading him, beside the fact he is our only forward of any note, it would cost the club a bucket load of money to pay out his contract.

So in that case, the only way Fevola can be terminated is if he agrees to a trade. Who would have to pay the $1.3million remaining on his contract?

Like I said earlier - just a rumour I heard! I wanted to know if anyone else has heard the same.
I would be devastated to see it happen.

Maybe the 'Bombers player arrested' headline just up now online at the Herald Sun might wipe Fev off the front page tomorrow.

Rumour is that it is Michael Hurley who hit a taxi driver...

On Monday night, he was exposed to all of the dimwits that think his brand of comedy is amusing. The fact that people think it was somewhat humourous is a blight on society.

So all the people that found that funny last night are dimwits and a blight on society. Ouch....that was a very uneducated call.

It's the footy shows fault. It's crowns fault. It's his team mates fault. It's channel 7's fault and channel 9 too.
Besides, what man with 2 kids and a pregnant wife doesn't try to "grope a few hotties" Apparently it's perfectly normal behaviour.
And let's forget the best, anyone who doesn't have the same low standards as some here, isn't a true supporter!

It's amazing what stupidity we'll accept and make excuses for because someone can kick a leather ball.

That's assuming these people think it's an issue to start with, BV. The problem is that many people on these forums that support football genuinly think it's okay to 'grope the chicks' and act like a flog. They actually use people like Fev as an icon of life.

And when you think about it, Fev is just a bogan who can play footy, not a footy player who's become a bogan.

Monday night wasn't about Fev the footballer.
Monday night was about Brendan Fevola, a man like many people who has a very serious drinking problem.

The AFL invites somebody who they had to kick out of Ireland because of his drinking and then invite him to a function where the alcohol would be flowing freely.
You could see during the count that he was carrying on too far, thumbs down and silly comments.

This is where the support for Brendan failed - His wife just left him, people from the club around him, Crown just kept on serving him more fuel and channel 9 give him a microphone and follow him around everywhere waiting for something funny to happen, but when things got out of hand somebody decided to pull the plug. Any person could have seen it was not going to end well. Somebody from the club, maybe Gregg Swan should of had Brendan removed before it got out of hand. We all know from his past history that alcohol and Brendan don't mix, something always bad happens.

The Juddy finger in the ear pressure point Steven Seagal was funny but Brendan just didn't know when to stop , no one is condoning all the other things Brendan did Monday night.

Brendon, if you ever read this, join AA and never touch the stuff again.

SEN are reporting that Demetriou has banned Fev from the GF day parade, where he was due to appear as the Coleman Medallist.

As Doran the Moron said, it suggests there's alot more to this than many think. Or, that Spew-man is a flog.

In the paper it says that Fevola rang him to tell him he wouldn't be participating.

The Age are reporting that Fev rang Andy and withdrew himself.
