I know this has been done before, but with the Nick Stevens retirement news emerging it looks like we will need a new VC in 2010. So, who do you reckon...

I spose that theory worked for the last bloke we recruited with a first round selection trade.

I can't decide between Gibbs, Murph, Waite and Simmo. I'd probably have Gibbs slightly ahead, but that probably discounts the efforts of the other guys.

When we were recruiting Murph the talk was all about his leadership qualities, I wonder how that potential sits now with a few years of AFL footy behind him?

Andrew Carrazzo. Not our best player, but still a safe best 22 type, probably our equivalent of Andrew Welsh, in that every time he's in the media representing our club, he's a polished media performer and well spoken. Something I can't quite give to young Murph just yet.

Has had quite a good year, has Carrots, improved in a lot of areas that people haven't given him the credit for (become quite a deadly finisher around goals being the main one), and should be rewarded for this, in a year where he could quite easily have been lost in the shuffle.

..good call, still think Murphos, but Carrots should be in the mix as well..

Good point. I'd be happy with Carrots.

But at the end of the day, like Hornet, Waite has done enough to deserve it imo.

Really depends on how much footy he will be able to play imo

I voted Simmo, but I believe Simmo and Carrots should share duties.

To me they've shown the most leadership at the club.
