How on earth Monday night will impact on any future premiership possibilities is the stuff martians deal in. It's off with the faires. Loony tunes.

What makes people trip like morons as is happening here?

Verbs you're living in the 70's mate - get with the project this is 2009.

Footy has changed - it is more profesional than ever before and the draft and salary keep means no one can buy a premiership.

The more professional the club, the administration and the players the more chance of winning a flag - fact.
What Fev did (and has done in the past) was unprofessional - fact.

St.Kilda drops Jason Gram because he misses a physio appointment.
Geelong suspends Steve Johnson for 6 weeks for breaking team rules.

Excessive punishments? Who's playing in the Grand Final on Saturday?

Exactly - it's not that simple, it's bloody difficult to win one. That's why clubs go to extraordinary lengths to set high standards of professionalism.

Was there. Fev most smashed guy by an absolute mile making a complete tool of himself. I think enough has been said about how disgraceful and embarrassing his ongoing behavour over his career has been. Most disconcerting thing was seeing Marc Murphy follow him around like a sheep dog (in fairness didn't do anything outrageous himself but was clearly completely devoid of individual thought). It is this effect that is most worrying for our group...

So I guess that answers it...it was a public event.

This incident will count for nothing in the overall scheme of things and Fevola was stupid.

But this has to be seen against the context of the fact that we live in one of the most over regulated over governed countries on the face of the earth.

They'd have a go at regulating breathing if they thought it could solve some new found social ill - and later on they'd try to tax it as well..

We are run by (too many) governments, authorities and a shallow, but cynical and narcissistic media who are all collectively as unaware of their own deeply psychotic obsession with political correctness, conformity and the stifling of individuality as Fevola was with his behavior on the morning after brownlow night.

Its easy to blame Fevola for his obvious frailties - but in many ways he has inadvertantly highlighted the real villains of the piece.

Only just had the chance to read the HS account of his antics. Sorry but couldn't help but LMAO

But what an awful public humiliation for him as a person!

Sober Fev would be doing it hard right now.

If I woke up in the morning and read an article like that about what I had done the night before - whether I could remember all of it or not - I dare say there'd be a degree of stress.

Probably means he'll put in a mean pre-season. He'd better. :fight:

Fev, Please for your own sake don't do it again until your holding our #17. Then we'll forgive anything - well almost. And I dare say some of us will be in even worse condition although there are health warnings against that type of behaviour for good reason.

A few random thoughts -

Journalists are amongst the last people who should hold drunks up for derision;

At least Akermanis knew he'd had enough and didn't tempt fate; and

It would be interesting to go on an overseas end-of-season jaunt with Fev and Brock McLean!

Fev obviously has aa few issues in his head.
He has a compulsive disorder personality... and addictive traits.
He needs to be made to go to AA meetings.

Massive problem aged 28

Eddie Maguire on MMM has just confirmed that TFS will have vision tonight that "doesn't paint Fev in a good light".

Only possible if Fevola wants out, otherwise he's staying for two more seasons. By then he'll have over 200 games and 700 goals.

"It's not like I really did anything too bad," he said. "When I drink, I just drink. You don't drink all year and then all of a sudden, I don't know, (I'm) like a big kid I 'spose."

"Fev has put his hand up and recognises that what he's done is wrong," Coutts said.

Missing that goal against Hawthorn was 10 times worse. :|

Lost count of how any times that's happened.
Are there are rules for Fevola and rules for others?
