Maybe his captain?? He represents the CFC at the Brownlow, He is there to act like a normal human being as most other footballers were able to achieve. If one of my staff acted like that at a company function he'd be out the door.

I hope Juddy takes this all the way to see him out the door, too.

Give it a break mate.

Hes not in the corporate world, hes in the football world. He doesnt wear a tie on the field, but a football jumper. You can't compare the 2. It was poor form and he will regret it, will pull his head in as hes probably pissed off channel 9. Which may mean hes lost 80K a year.

If you really want to lose a chance of a premiership in 2-3 years, then trade Fev. But, l would prefer to keep the best full forward in the game and go for a premiership. I probably wouldn't pay $550 for a membership next year if they traded fev for a crap player or draft picks though. Who would want to support a bottom 8 side again.

I can see how the conversation between channel 9 and Fev went. So Fev, we want you to do street talk at the brownlow, get pissed, have a few laughs, make a di*k of yourself as you normally do.

Then come yesterday. Fev you got too pissed, laughed too much and make too much of a di*k of yourself! Your fired!!
Channel nine continue to create things they cant control, Sam, Shane, Fev.

Whilst very poorly shot, there isn't anything more to complain about that video. Totally harmless.

I was a bit disappointed there were so many other people singing along with Fev and enjoying themselves though, sort of took away from it all being about Fev, though his singing voice isn't the greatest.

If it was during the season, I'd say "drag him over hot coals".

Since it's his offseason, I don't care what he does; as long as he presents himself in the right state of body, and mind at the start of preseason training.

Sticks would be asking himself, 'What would Dick do?'.... I don't think the answer will be too good for Fev. Its just disapponting.

Yes, Fev is a larrakin and footy needs them.... But, he's fast turning into the uncle that nobody wants to sit next to at Christmas.

Melvey, the issue isnt whether me and you enjoy a drink, and what we do when we are on the piss.
The issue is Fevola's antics are beginning to tug at the fabric of what makes a football club successful: his performance at the Brownlow is a microcosm of so much of his on field "its all about me" persona.

It might hurt short term to trade him, but the long term implications of having 22 driven blokes committed to working for team success will be invaluable.

Your response is completely naive regarding how much impact Fev has on our footy side: you say we have no other extroverts- thats probably because #25 swallows up all the oxygen.

Trading him will be a brave call.. but it almost might be the reason we get up the ladder quicker than people think.

Yea lets set some standards. If we expect CFC players to be A grade citizens i think the members should be too.

Grand Final day - All Carlton Members
*No member can have more then 3 beers during the grand final game.
*No member can be over 0.05
*You can not urinate on the lemon tree, must use toilet (Would be unprofessional)
* Must leave toilet seat down.
* No yelling during the game, as that may disturb neighbours.
* Have to watch the game wearing neat casual/suit. (Must be professional members)
* Need to be home by 9PM.

Any more standards? :)

Yep he made a dick of himself and not for the first time.

At least he made it to the show unlike Aker!?

The worst I've heard on here is Gibbsy's girl was crying. If Fev had something to do with that I'd be more angry about him.

The singing video I saw was nothing. Go to any wedding and you'll see that.

Ch9 can't get to precious about setting abloke up to get pissed and try to make people laugh for their show and when it goes pear they make a "song and dance" about it. :donk:

Yep have to agree a bit with Josh here, I am hiding under the desk today to avoid the usual stuff that accompanies yet another Fevola incident.

It is embrassing and it must really embarrass his teammates as well when they see it the next day. I don't know if its the final straw as I think we reached that awhile back but we're kind of stuck with him now. We do need to make a stand now with this guy and set some standards. Fevola should NEVER be allowed to attend any club or AFL sanctioned event without a club minder. I am sorry it has gotten to this but thats the reality of it - he cannot control himself, his teammates cannot control him and his poor old partner/wife must wonder what to do.

He needs a minder who can simply say that's it and ensure he gets home (they drive him rather than a cab), stops alcohol getting to him and generally stops him being an idiot. Essentially we need a tagger  , maybe AJ doens't get an offseason LOL!

You'll need to add a zero to that figure.... and I would suggest you bring your head in from the 80s and take a look around the professional sport landscape. Footy, at that level, is business... you can't disseminate the two. Yes, there are plenty of non-PC things that go on inside footy clubs (or any type of club for that matter), but there must be consequences when these things are made public. If for no other reason than to protect the rest of those within the inner sanctum.

IN the old days, you would just bash a bloke until he got the message.... Sadly for Fev, he's going to be made a scapegoat. Maybe not this time, maybe not the next, but he'll get it in the end.

Heavy price to pay for his team mates.

I think fev will always be a dick when he drinks, im not saying that what he did is ok, its not, but geez, lets just move on.

Fev gets pissed, is a bit of a dick drunk, embarrasses himself and he wont be invited back to next years brownlow. End of story.

He is far better then the following:
* Didak in car with bikies with bullets shot
* Heath shaw/didak crash a car drunk.
* St Kilda players accused of rape.
* Collingwood player caught drink driving - lose TAC sponsorship
* Wayne Carey sleeping with another players wife
* Buddy Franklin in fight over the weekend in Perth.
*Tarrant in fights
* Ben Cousins doing drugs.
* Michael Jordan having an affair with 6 women
* Charles Barkley spitting on a girl in the crowd of a NBA game.

There are a lot more.

suck it up princesses and move on.
