Someone forgot to tell Fev that when you throw up in the early hours of the morning after year 21st - Thats it - It's all over you then start to control yourself after that

You can get away with this shit when your 18-19 -20 and 21 you can have the occasional mishap up to about 25 but when your married 2 kids and 28/29 it time to pull back bit

I guess a lot go in to footy clubs as kids and come out still as kids - others tend to mature a bit

Yeah you're right....he just doesn't seem to learn

Ha ha. Classic!! Loosen up people.

I can remember walking home from a Xmas Party in Middle Park to Carlton one AM. Totally trashed! I vaguely remember falling over on what was then the new Grand Prix track and being covered in fresh asphalt the next morning.

Let the guy enjoy himself......

How dare a 28 year old drink alcohol and be drunk in this town?!!? Its not like anyone else does it

60-70% of the footballers would be drunk at a Brownlow. The issue is how you react to being drunk and what impact you are having on other peoples enjoyment. I am sure Adam Goodes and Simon Black were drunk on the night but I am not reading about them in the paper.
The problem with Fev is that he can't handle the drink or he does not know when to stop? Once under the influence he is likely to do something that will bite him on the bum. This is just another incident that has occurred whilst Fev has been pissed.
Unfortunately Fev is putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5, he just has not worked it out yet.

You know if your doing street talk, you have to get pissed at the brownlow :)

he did it last year and was pissed, thats why he got the gig again this year as everyone loved it.
This year he obviously had a few too many, but im sure people will love it and some go ewww. You wouldn't get the street talk gig being sober. But, ratings now will be high on the footy show.

Brownlow is the only time of the year that you actually see players drinking and blowing steam off. ITs actually nice to see that they aren't robots all drinking water n orange juice on brownlow nite.

Fevola is a common footballer outside of the AFL. If your ever been around local football club functions, far worse goes on. Its just because hes in the AFL that every1 thinks you should be a robot and not do one thing wrong like they are A grade citizens.

I actually don't have a problem with him getting pissed at the brownlow, making a tool out of him self , he has to live with it. Not me and aslong as he don't do it during the season then who cares.

Fev only damaged his image... as long as he plays good footy then I've got no problem.

Although, if we do trade him his value probably diminished on Monday night.

Good on ya Fev! You were the only pissed player (of which there were stacks) that got media coverage.

fair dinkum Fev, grow up mate. I don't begrudge you letting off steam but sheesh, you are a lightning rod for trouble, understand that then act within its bounds. Get trashed ata mates place if thats what you want to do. But as soon as you go out in puiblic you know you have a massive target on your head. Its past time you pulled it in.

The thing is you know, I bet a lot of the young Carlton players saw you, then saw the way Juddy behaves, and thought "I want to be like Juddy, Fev's embarassing"

Got to laugh at Channel 9 being 'upset'. Lets see, they get the presenter drunk, sen dhim out on street talk, and are now upset that the presenter was err drunk. Its the Kyle Sandilands/management defence!

Maybe his captain?? He represents the CFC at the Brownlow, He is there to act like a normal human being as most other footballers were able to achieve. If one of my staff acted like that at a company function he'd be out the door.

I hope Juddy takes this all the way to see him out the door, too.

If it was Jonathan Brown we'd all be saying how much of a legend he is and a bloody good bloke.

But then again, there wasn't a dedicated gossip columnist following him around all night either. And as per usual, we the consumer take the bait hook line and sinker.

Yeah, cause we always cheer on players from oposition clubs over ours. Like the time I thought Didak was a legend for riding with the gangster, or when I applauded those StKilda boys for working over the girls at the party.

But no, I only have it in for poor ol' Fev who is really just having some fun and not hurting anyone.

Oh, except our chances of winning another flag.

Not if it was the 5th time he did it and his priors were letting off fire extinguishers whilst drunk, pissing on a restaurant window whilst drunk, putting a barman in a headlock whilst drunk, picking up Lara Bingle when your wife has just had a child .... don't know if he was drunk but she must have been drunk .......

This is absolutely embarassing for a professional football club to have videos like this posted on the largest selling newspaper's website.

Final straw for mine.. lets set some @#$%&! standards.

Someone on BF has run with the story that Carlton is to sack Fev for this.

Personally, I think there is too much made of it (unless there is more to it and something else happened). He got pissed, so what. Credit to him for facing the music on radio this morning.

It's not good, but it's not a hanging offence. It's only a story because the H/S made it one.
