He can handle the footy well, but just can't handle his alcohol...

We won't win 17 until we move him on. I beg you CFC, get what you can now, or face the consequences in one, two or 3 years.

I love Fev. He is one of the last true 'larakins' left in footy. But if the reports are correct he has gone way too far with this one.

Worse thing in all this is that if the reports are true, he has pissed off Juddy. Rumours on SEN this morning that Judd is not at all impressed. Judd (apart from his recent famous 'pressure point' slip up) is a true professional. He demands it from his teammates - which is half the reason he left WCE. I wouldnt be surprised that if Judd approached the club then stern action could be taken! We'll see how this one unfolds....

Fev was on Triple-M this morning facing the music.

He was very regretful. Didn't quite go as far as to say he's giving up the grog, but I think he admitted it's an issue for him.

Little snippet in the paper saying Gibbs's girlfriend was seen crying as they got into a taxi. Would loved to have been a fly on the wall at the after party.

He ruined/made the night of the other blue boys and their dates by the sound of things.

Its a fine line with Fev. This time it seems it cost him.

I am not too bothered by all of this but reckon he should give no drinking a try. His life might become even better.

What a classic he is, im probably the only twisted one that finds him amusing.

Probably should keep drinking at home and not in public, thats what i do to save me embarrassment

In all seriousness though was pretty silly but hey everybody makes mistakes.............

Some just make more than others

Just like our Fevy.

Given his clowning around during the telecast this doesn't come as any surprise, sadly. :yikes:

I'm sick of wasting our time on this tool. He's probably got 3 years left - get rid of him now. I'm sick of trying to rehabilitate this goon.

Go talk to Sydney or Dogs or even the Saints if they lose this week. Get a deal done and move on.

Probably perfect timing TBH.

Yeah, but you know, the moral & ethical police in the HS and general footy media dictate that this behaviour should warrant public stoning and 1000 lashes of the whip
How dare a 28 year old drink alcohol and be drunk in this town?!!? Its not like anyone else does it

Pretty nieve of Ch 9 to give him the responsibility of doing Street Talk given his history. Can't help but think this wouldn't be such a big deal if it wasn't for Ch 9.

To be honest, I'm not really sure where I stand on the issue of his off field antics. I don't see that it really hurts, but you wouldn't want all your players doing it and unfortunately we seem to have a few, the disappointing part being they're all in the leadership group. From that point of view perhaps Fev should show some leadership and give the grog up.

..sure, alot of ppl do get drunk every day.. ..but, if yer a happy drunk it's ok [and yer got good health insurance fer later on].. ..the thing is, Fev isn't a happy drunk.. ..he gets into trouble, sure he isn't up for assault or anything too 'bad', but he also can't be trusted to hold his liquor.. ..and IF he's making trouble with team-mates [or WAG's which may cause trouble with team mates], then something needs to be done about it..

Even if he showed great leadership on-field (which he doesn't) this would be enough to remove him from the leadership group. Our club is sacrificing its integrity by having this bloke play for us.

We have sold out for a few goals and some bums on seats  . My opinion has not changed in 6 or 7 years.

Someone forgot to tell Fev that when you throw up in the early hours of the morning after year 21st - Thats it - It's all over you then start to control yourself after that

You can get away with this shit when your 18-19 -20 and 21 you can have the occasional mishap up to about 25 but when your married 2 kids and 28/29 it time to pull back bit

I guess a lot go in to footy clubs as kids and come out still as kids - others tend to mature a bit

lets be honest, fev plays for himself and himself only, and if the reports are true then team mates would be fuming.
i can understand he plays footy and he wants to let off a bit of steam but how come its always fev, i dont get the big fella.
