Those of you who saw these two in action for the Ants today were no doubt excited watching these two play well together. While some of the comments, (eg 'Krakouers reborn) are a bit extravagant, it did seem the two had a great rapport with one another that frankly I haven't seen before the brief times I've seen them in the same team. What else do we know about them other than both playing for Swans? We know Garlett is a year older than Yarran (perhaps why he's settled a bit easier here), but were they friends prior to coming to Carlton? Did they have chemistry together when playing at Swans? Do they live together?

My reason for asking is that, with all the (unwarranted) criticism of Yarran in his first season with us, would Ratts and co feel that perhaps these two should be developed as a unit instead of individually? Would the development of both guys improve greater if they were kept together at all times, living together, training together etc?

With Armfield establishing himself, that leaves Ellard as the other ex-Swan on the list, and by all accounts he seems to have done all the right things to get a Navy Blue jersey but can't get a look in. Do the MC have special plans for him and thus developing him in the 2's specifically, or do they just not like him? What do we think his future is?

And overall, would the four guys benefit from being around one another given their previous home?

Most guys would get sick of each nother in that situation...
and they could just as easily lead each other astray...

Emma Quayle wrote a nice article about Yarran, Naitanui and one other kid (Freo late pick) living in the same street back in WA.

This, and his hair, confirms he's crazy!
