Really sad for doggies last nite.
have jumped right off that saints bandwagon.
the game reminded me a bit of our game against them.
A few skill errors here and there....
weird thing was..it felt like there was a script, and that you knew saints would win...it was like the dogs knew that..despite being on top for most of the game.
maybe there is an underdog mentality that they can't shake.
If we get in that situation, then i hope our past winning mentality will come to the fore.
if the dogs had had that killer..its ours mentality in the last 1/4...they might of had it...soooo sad for them.
back on point..
I want to like reeeeeVOLT...and coach....
but.....I Jist Don't!!!!!!
ditto.........Maxwell...........ditto.......zac Dawson............jist don't.

I respect Reiwoldt, he stood tall last night when counted.

I'd have him at Carlton any day. A CHF with the tank of a midfielder and courage second to none.

As long as Geelong wins tonight, I'm happy. I can live with St Kilda or Geelong winning the flag.

Rafa, i can`t respect a player who gets so looked after by the umpires. That free last night (and the soft frees he got against us) was a joke. Fev and Buddy Franklin must shake their heads when they see the treatment Reiwoldt gets.

So if Fev got a few more free kicks from the umpires you wouldn't respect him...? :?

Reiwoldt gets free kicks because umpires like him. They like him because he doesn't mouth-off to them or crack the sads with them like Fev does.

Like it or not, that's the way the system works. Always has, always will. Cost Diesel a Brownlow, as well all know.

(and I think we all know that if he played for us, we'd worship the very ground he walked on)

He was the difference between another prelim exit and a shot at the flag - I'd love him at Carlton and if the Dogs had him they would have won by 10 goals.

Fev gets mauled. You cant touch Reiwoldt. Yeah i know that its not the Vaults fault umpires award soft free kicks to him. Just making the point that in comparison with other forwards he gets a very good go and thats why i dont respect him as much as other forwards who have to play without that advantage.

Pretty much got it in one. But also, the bottom group actually express displeasure when things don't go their way and like to hurt people occasionally with big hits (sometimes illegal). The top group have found a way to do the same thing but sugarcoat it to hide the turd beneath. Ie. 'The Velvet Sledgehammer'.

It's a sad fact when officials are supposed to be impartial, but it's reality. Picture Fev in Riewoldt's shoes last night just after half-time, or Jack Anthony's free last week. We can all agree that not only would he have not gotten a free, but would've coughed up a 50 for mouthing off, which would no doubt result in an opposition goal.

Don, in reply to your post, QFT about Riewoldt & Fev. The problem I see is, Fev is his own worst enemy. If Fev could play the percentages and use his wiles, he'd tip the scales in his favour, as far as the umps are concerned. He could learn to let a few shockers go and appeal for the most blatant ones. The reason why I get so annoyed with Lloyd and Monfries (and lately, Selwood) is that they carry on like butter would melt in your mouth and yet, their subsequent actions have caused more physical harm to opponents than Fev has........ (sorry if I'm being Captain Obvious here  )

Well well...Monga just trashed fev on 774 on talkback..saying we'll never win a Gf while relying on him..and that's why he's giving over to Gumbleton.

We've heard that for ages though; Lloyd is joining the chorus of "experts" to say so.

But Lloyd is still a flower.
