St Kilda don't bother me. I don't care provided Collingwood lose, though I would be rapt if the Bulldogs won it this year.

"I'm fine - as long as Collingwood don't win the GF"...i could live with the 'Aints winning - although it will be painful, you just know they will disappear for another 4 decades. Hopefully Dogs...will probably be one of those years again where the best team during the year doesn't win it.

actually I do care who wins or loses..but thanks ?
Actually in a twisted kind of way..i'm heartened that I'm not the only one who dislike saints..it's irrational really..just don't warm to 'em.

You actually find that most TCers have a deep resentment for St Kilda.

I think it's borne of the past 6-8 years.

:garthp: on the old TBV.

The Saintsational matches where we'd flog them by 30 goals. (and the two girls in the FP were the best on ground for them  )

Them shitcanning us "blah, blah, paper bags, blah, blah, Carlscum, blah, blah".

The fact they have had the wood over us for a while now, starting with the 120-odd point smashing they
gave us the same day my ex split with me. :|

That rat-bastard Milne. Say no more. Flash the ball at us in the goalsquare - I'll show you!

That douchbag from Saintsational who I has a long running feud. Anyone remember that?! Can't remember his
name. ARGH - what is it. Came to the forum match one day, long grey hair 50 year old bogan. Pfft. Lucky he
didn't play!

They're my reasons. I'm guessing they are a lot of peoples reasons.

As for Collingwood. It's just genetic.

Well Geelong are probably the ones who have the most to lose if they don't win. Didn't the players agree to take a pay cut (or at least forego a pay rise) to keep the team together so they could win some more premierships.

Sydney is lurking with a free $2 mil or more in the salary cap. Rumours are they are going after Lake from the Western Bulldogs (who isn't being paid enough).

And of course let us not even mention the Gold Coast.

I've swung around, if Saints play Collingwood, I'm the Saints bandwagon.

10 years of losing to those wannabe's is tough, but I think they would deserve a Premiership for a stella season.

As for Collingwood, my SIL's reminded me this weekend why I hate them.

Apart from above, go Doggies and Cats!!

I really think the saints will win...usually I sulk for a while..but then find I'm supporting one team without knowing why it happened.
There are players to like in both those teams,as well as to dislike.
Think, and hope it will be cats and saints though.(assuming saints are in)
It's hard not to get caught up in the emotion of the teams if its a close game.
For non supporters, a thrilling last quarter would be great.

Yep. I know the usual suspects - Baker, Milne..... But how could you not like Lenny Hayes. I also find myself liking Fisher, Gilbert. Love Goddard. St Kilda plays like I wish we played. And I think their coach is good too.

i don't for one nano second wish we played like anyone but Carlton when we are in the flow.T
There is no more fabulous and lovable team than Carlton and never will be.
Our club has a completely different spirit to the Saints.
i like Goddard..probably see him as a blue though  and of course Hayes..great players in every team.
for some reason,Zac Dawson reminds me of Brad Fisher.
I feel sorry for Maxie Hudghton..I like his playing too.

Now, before you stone me for stating the unmentionable.........but I'd have the Pies before the Saints ("ducks.......................before copping one right between the eyes when not looking! " )

All the good guys I have a good, reasoned yarn about footy with (apart from my fellow Baggers, of course!) are Pies supporters. The Saints' supporters- well, what can I say? Six years of trying (since 2004) and still they attempt to lord it over Blues' supporters. As I said to a Saints' follower recently, give us a call when you want some advice on how to come through in September.......... It'll be interesting to see how they'll handle huge expectations of a probable flag, knowing their chances of rebuilding and replacing with quality picks will be severely curtailed after this draft.

Most of all, I want the Doggies to win it....GO DOGGIES!!!! Woof!Woof!Woof!

Geez I hope either the Doggies or the Cats make it to the GF.

At least I will be able to support a team that way...

..either/either I'll be stuck at work for the whole day - should get penalties for that!
