Stop being so precious Carlton members.. Players go out after 44 weeks of the year spent training and playing and get pissed. Who cares!!! They only have 8 weeks off the whole year, let them enjoy it. As long as no body gets hurt or does anything against the law.

If you are under the age of 30 and can go out with out being pissed in the public arena for 44 weeks straight, then my hat goes off to you. But, if you can do that, you must not have much of a social life aswell.

Totally agree with this!

All you wowsers out there are late for your "Parents and Friends Knitting Group" discussion about returning pub closing times to 6pm!

Fev gets page 4 for a harmless act, what page was the Hawthorn player on who pleaded guilty to damaging cars?

Well considering all the patrons were warned the carlton boys were coming / those who came when they had already arrived could have gone to one of the other pubs within a few hundred metres I would suggest the guy talking to the herald sun should shut up and let it go.

..as for it being an old footy tradition, so was having a ciggy on the sidelines and a few bevvies pre-game.. ..the world's changing, and 'old traditions' can sometimes be 'old' for very good reasons.. ..if you've got a large group of ppl getting thoroughly trashed in public, then even plastered they need to be able to behave themselves.. .and if they can't, then precations should be made.. ..just hire out a huge place, invite a heap of their friends and have a big 'house party'.. ..hell, then they can fire up the bongs too for all i care..

Well they probably can't handle it cos they barely drunk all year :)

I see what your saying, but why would single footy players wanna stay at a house n not meet some single hot chicks when they are out. Its discrimination against footy players doing what everyone else can do with a bunch of mates. We are only talking one day of the year, who cares.

North melb did the party at home thing, and carey got caught with stevens missus, club doesnt need that :)

..i don't care at all, if they don't actually cause any trouble.. ..i'm just saying them, and everyone,, if they can't handle their booze/drugs, they shouldn't go the whole hog.. ..and if they still wanna go for broke, in that case keeping it private and not public would be the way to go..

What Fev and other players have done on their Mad Monday is no where near as bad as the NRL boys

Ch. 10 interviewed the publican in charge of Naughton's and The Rising Sun. The common response? That they were well behaved. Shock horror!

Understand if the boys were on the steps of Parliament in the middle of the day carrying on like they did

But they were in a pub carrying on like a lot of other people do in pubs in their 20s.

As for the Blue Boys 2009, party on!

Qccording to the Publican it was a set up. The dildo was handed to Fev and someone took a photo, i.e. someone set jim up. Evening news trying to make this even "bigger" by talking about AFL sanctions. The media is totally out of control.

So... You're saying... They knew we were coming?

The more I hear about this , the more I am convinced is was a sting by the Herald Sun.
