I actually think Wallsy gets the gist of most things right. His specifics can sometimes be debated. Funny how when TC'ers are critical of Carlton, they get told that they havent played the game, don't know what its like etc etc etc. Then when someone lke Wallsy or Parko say something critical about Carlton, they're out of touch or don't know what they're talking about etc
Carlton need to be held accountable and if some negative feedback comes their way, so be it. Carlton built its success from the 60's to the 90's on ruthless high expectations that no doubt was laced with critical points of view. Yes we've come from a long way back but please, next year is the dawn of a new decade. Enough with the excuses of the past. Time to move forward without the wooden spoon/DP era as a safety blanket when we don't do well
In case you weren't aware, we can't win the flag every year.
Does that mean we should constantly point out our shortcommings (until we win the flag) rather than focussing on any positives which may ultimately bring us a flag?
I'm all for constructive criticism and analysis but sometimes we're like a baby who needs his bottle and will keep on screaming till he gets it!
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!
Are you on this planet??? Using your second last sentence logic, if Carlton are 10 goals down at half time in a game, Ratten should not point out the shortcomings and pass around positive merit stickers with his lolly pops at half time and tell the boys, "Try your best boys, Brett still loves you. and you never know boys, one day we might win a premiership. Off you go, have fun, I'll be waiting for you win lose or draw with a big hug"
