thats rubbish.

putting your hand on someones face, is nothing like an eye guage.

dont get caught up in what the media says, trial by media is exactly what got buddy two weeks. you show the incident enough and have someone tell you he has done something wrong and is gone ... you start to believe it.

i got to ask, what happened to, if there is an incident on the field that may come under question, they arent allowed to show it until its been decided one way or another? yet something else that the tv coverage is demanding of this game ... but that will happen when you sell your sole to the devil trying to get as much money as you can for tv rights.

if it was an eye guage, he would have gone off the field, have a severe blood shot eye, and be very hard to continue to play, as his vision would be effected for some time afterwards.

if he goes for that as an eye guage, and considering the latest wth the bump, then this game is officially !@#$%&

agree

He was just trying to close the dude's eyes, like he had just been murdered. Didn't want to have to look into his cold dead eyes.

Judd does have a history with this. Got away with it against the hawks a few years back.

Not much in this one though.

Reprimand and clear to play round 1 next year.

I will say what I damn well please.

A stupid act from someone who should know better.

I don't think there's enough evidence to get him weeks (as much as the ferals and media would like it to happen) but it was a stupid thing to do nonetheless. Clearly he was frustrated (wouldn't we all if we had to carry the team as he does), and had a brain-snap, but it's no excuse. He'll be regretting having done that no doubt, and I hope he smoothed things over later.

Having seen the incident many times I think he is trouble. It didnt look good and the AFL will not like it. Scotland and Fev got suspended for 2 weeks in recent years for similar incidents, neither were intentional.
From memory both Scotland and Fev were sent straight to the tribunal and bypassed the match review panel, i think this will do the same. While the footage is inconclusive his hands were definately on his face and only Judd knows what he was doing. Sadly i think he will get 2 weeks as well.
It was DUMB DUMB DUMB
Summed up our night.

I don't really care too much about his 'image', more about how he plays.

Some of the gloss has just worn off the golden boy.

I don't know what he was trying to do but don't think he was going about it the right way.

Nothing in it. Judd said himself he was pressing a pressure point in his neck, stupid thing to do.

Points only with a guilty plea.

Nothing in it. Looked bad initally but the reverse angle showed there was no contact with the eyes. Cannot get rubbed out for that. At first glance it looked like he was just being a nuisance, rubbing his fingers across his face.

If you cannot be rubbed out for throwing a punch a missing you cannot be rubbed out for this.

On channel 9 news at the airport - said he was trying to get a pressure point near Rischitelli's ear. :screwy:
