Maybe Ratts can go start working on a backline strategy......Brown and Bradshaw had all the room in the world and our kick ins are completely s%@thouse...why wait for everyone to man up than kick to the pocket every bloody time.......and bloody handball it to a player two metres away in the same amount of pressure.....bloody hell hopefully i will go to sleep and wake up to the newspaper saying there was some form of disqualification......

How we allowed blokes like Brennan, Johnstone and Sherman to have an influence on the game, I will never understand.

You cooked our senior players early in the final quarter Ratts, and it cost us the match.

Bang on two more after Cloke's opener to the final quarter and it would have panned out differently.

Give up the weed Jim, it's making you delusional.

What, you think they all decided to jog for the next 20 minutes?

What do you mean burning them out Jim?

Same old rubbish about our defence, Bower and THornton did well when one on one with Bradshaw or Brown.

Some people need to understand that when delivery is excellent you can't stop a key forward marking.

These key forwards are too good when it's delivered on a platter...it has to start up the field. You have to pressure the ball carrier.

Besides, we still have Jamison and Waite to come back and another pre season into Bower.

I'm very excited about 2010.

Shows our deficiency in the backline badly and how 1 player focused our forward is....

Disagree, Cam was a solid secondary target and really surprised me tonight.

Backline was undermanned, that was a selection mistake. Burning out our better players before the middle of the last was a woeful decision.

What a load of rubbish!

Our backline has always struggled against Brown and Bradshaw.

There was nobody else to bring in GET THAT THROUGH YOUR HEAD!

You can blame the selectors all you like but if you don't have the cattle???.

Well who can we can get with pick 11?

I've built a bridge and can now look forward to top 4 in 2010.

Warnock, Waite, Jamo all back fully fit and firing.

Yarran and Walker with full pre-seasons.

Pick 11 and whoever we trade for.

Our own left footed lethal weapon set to emerge .....

Another pre-season into Gibbs, Murphy, Grigg, Kreuzer, Hammer, Russell, AJ.

It's all good not matter how bad the loss tonight is right now.

f*** Brett Ratten and the Match Committee.

Ratts doesn't deserve to win a final as a coach

Turning point was when Simmo was inside 50 and centred the ball straight to Brown!
WTF didn't he have a shot...... :banghead: :banghead:

They rushed it down field and scored a goal.

Hard to take at the moment, and would have loved to have seen us play a final in Melbourne, but the way we were playing there wouldn't have been much point. We forced many turnovers but didn't punish them, we also got cute eg. Simpsons little chip to J Brown in our forward line.

It hurts but would hurt alot more if we were a threat this year. Bring on 09' with a fit Waite and Jammo and a good pre-season into some of our younger players.

One more thing, do Ch 10 really think footy fans want to see that slimy @#$%&! maggot K Rudd? We don't @#$%&! care about him being at the footy!

30 points up in the last you get that killer instinct and put teams away.

We had to just fall over the line and we could have put the Bulldogs away next week, they would have be shitting themselves.

No excuses - that is not good enough -

Don't hang heads in disbelief, that is only hiding.

Need people to step up and put them away in the last and we didn't do that.

Let ourselves down in the end tonight.

The hard work begins now - big pre season ahead

That's all that separated us tonight.

No what seperated us was heart. It took them 3 and half quarters to find theirs, but at least they had one.

I can't believe the way our boys were strolling around like it was the NAB cup for most of that game. Weak as piss.

I know we're a young team, and I know we were never going all the way. But losing like that was shameful.

We didn't have it in us to go too deep anyway.

If anything a loss right now will point to our definciencies and there will be work done in the recruitment area.

Well done boys anyway for a very enjoyable season (apart from the Essendon* losses).

Yes, we could have won but 2009 was never going to be our year to push for anything...I think a loss here was pretty much where we were at.

Yeah muse I see where ur at on this one .... still hurts like a motherflower though .... its one thing to lose a close one and another thing to lose the almost unlosable .... chocking hurts so much more than getting pipped at the line.

I do not care we lost ... I too think we were never going all the way ... more upset with the fact we gave it away.

Have not seen the players stop like that all year. They literally just stopped!

There was nothing wrong with the umpires and those who blame the umpires are worse than filth supporters.

Can't get too much closer than that in an elim.

It sucks to lose but the game went the way of the last at the Gabba almost the same exactly. The difference was last time we won and had the umpires on our side.

Not exactly a disaster like some finals I remember way back when.

Bunch of weak cauliflower!

28 points up 5min into the last 1/4 with all the momentum and they decide to chip it around?

Just a bunch of weak-minded footballers. They need to do something about whatever it is that causes this shit or it will be exactly the same story next year. Flower, you could knock this bunch over with a wet lettuce leaf.

I don't care what anyone says, they choked in this game tonight. I hope it hurts the playing group more than ever before when they see the Bullies smash Bris next week and have thought about what might have been......

Just so weak and pathetic
