Rule of thumb, never take injured players into finals. Just ask the Lions of 2004...

Ratts should lobby to Voss and say "grow some balls Voss and just play them"

Dont ask the lions of 2003 though. They will tell you the opposite.

My 2 cents from afar - hope I have remembered the injurys correct.

Daniel Merrett - if his hammy is sus Fev will sort it for us

Josh Drummond - his quad us sus and his biggest attribute is long kicks from defense - let him kick - if his quad aint right, c u.

Simon Black - if his hammy is not right he wont be up to finals.

Daniel Bradshaw - if his quad aint right make him get the footy outside 50 so he has to off load - first hard pass to a teammate in space will either sort it out or make whoever is on him accountable.

Regardless - its finals footy for us finally - success is expected, lets hope the kids comprehend this.

Mind you a Cloke :yikes: playing footy let alone finals for us footy all together scare me but then again maybe he is there to remind Merrett what a step ladder is  .

You can guarentee that, no matter what - we won't bomb out (pardon the pun) of the finals nearly as bad
as Essendon* did.

Geez Adelaide are good. Stoked I got them at 15 bucks for the flag, because they'll be coming in already!

Can someone do me a favour and check what odds Carlton are for the win tomorrow!?

I'm stuck at work on night shift and can't access those sites.

Thanks grro.

Interesting, I'm sure there'd be some money on one team or the other.

Especially thought we'd drift when the Lions named their injured players in the side...

I want to get on the Blues tomorrow at a better price, but it'll probably stay at those odds
until the bounce - right?!

Cheers.

You know I was half considering chucking 10 bucks on Adelaide by over 100 pts.

Can't remember what it was paying.

Wondering if we'll have any last minute selection changes by either side.

What's everyone got planned for tomorrow night?!

I'm going home in the morning from night shift - sleeping until five, going to mum's place
down the road (they're out for the night), catching up with my bro. Some bevos, some
pizza or curry - then going to watch the game on the plasma with the sound shaking the
windows.

Here's a bit of light read for all you TCers...

Blues relaxed and confident

Fevola as foil?

Blues won't get stage fright: Houla

Blues emerge from Darkness

...and I thought I'd slide this in as well.

Wouldn't know mate, never had an issue like that before.

Won't see much of the missus tomorrow night - I'm going to shorten the chain attached from her to the kitchen sink.

Joking. I do the dishes in the relationship.

Is it in our interests for the game to be played in the wet???

I think i'd rather it be dry.

Just got off the phone from my essadun supporting mate who assures me that Merrett and Bradshaw are playing. He's Brissy based and is going tomorrow. Reckons Black is out. We are going to be short down back.

Still don't trust Voss particularly after his self indulgent wank about Harvey at the Brownlow last year.

Can't sleep

Can't sleep either.

Not allowed to on night shift.

No one to talk to about footy at 4.30am. Maybe I can call up the missus, wake her up and
ask her if she thinks the midfield will still dominate the stoppages in the wet?
