According to Mike Sheehan, Carlton are just making up the numbers in the finals.

He basically infers that there are six teams he rates - including Brisbane - and that Carlton aren't worth rating.

Sheehan's a peanut.

If we had've won easily he would have rated us. Because we lost easily he doesn't.

Forget the fact we've won 13 games. Forget the fact we've beaten 3 of the top 4 this year.

What an imbecile...

Christ he even picked Richmond to make the 8... that says it all.

Yeah, there's no real harm in Sheahan putting up his thoughts about September, but I can't see professional punters running out to get themselves a copy of the paper to find out what he thinks.

Voss just confirmed - Bradshaw, Adcock, Drummond and Merrett all out.

Black is a 30% chance to play.

Said they won't be 100% - and he definitely won't risk them.

Obviously he thinks the rest of his squad can do the job.

FWIW - I just whacked a bundle on the Blues at 1.93. :)

Where did you get this from? On Footy Classified they said Bradshaw and Black were tests, while Merrett and Drummond were doubtful.

Second hand info - take it with a grain of salt.

My apologies, usually I double check shit before I post...

...in this case, Voss said he's preparing as if they are not playing.

Drummond and Adcock wont be playing though.

I've read that article - I'm actually friends with the guy who wrote that! I've read many articles and they are all saying different things. I think Voss is playing mental games with us and I have a feeling Black and Bradshaw will play, while the others will miss.

Have a look then at the article that Knackers linked which shows that Ratts has the same suspicions.

Why is this guy considered an "expert"??????
Literally all he does is look at who's been winning, talk about how good they are, look at who's been losing, and talk about how much trouble they're in. He never sticks to his guns. He never actually predicts anything. He basically just commentates on past events. I really don't get!

Check out the training report as posted by CK - it was a light session for all today but Steve was on the track.

Would have loved a home final but I can see some positives in our poor effort against the Crows.

IMO we play much better when we are not favourites. I thinik we relish the "no one thinks we can win" theory.

With a couple out for Brisbane I think we are a massive chance.

I don't think we'll play Yarran and Garlett.
Scottland and Wiggons I think will both play mainly due to the mature body's argument.
JR will be forgiven a poor game last week and will be required to fill a backs spot.

Would love to see Warnock in but I think Clark has too much fitness advantage on him.

I think we will see the good Fev and I believe a shoot out might develope between him and Brown.

Fev for 7, Blues by 13 points.

Put you hand up if your happy to be in September action

Joseph on Rich wherever he plays.....no other tags.....all and sundry to hunt in packs and the rest will all fall into place.

Ok, word from up North.
Craig Mcrae was overheard on Sunday at the Lions Ressies games saying that Black most likely won't play.
Something along the lines of
he's never done anything like that before,
he felt it go and he knew he was in strife.

Also seems that Bradshaw won't play, but Drummond should be right.

This was overheard so take it for a grain of salt, I know I will, but just thought it was worth sharing
