Hi Guys,

Little whisper on team changes for this week.

IN:Ando, Yarran/Garlett (decision not yet made on which one) and maybe Warnock but they are hesitant about bringing him in.

OUT: Armfield (ankle) Robbo (foot) and Cloke if they take a punt on Warnock

Hammer to be given 1 more week to fully recover from his back injury.

Happy with this, if Armfield is indeed injured.

If not I'd go:

Robbo (out) - Yarran (in)
Cloke (out) - Hammer (if available) or Warnock (in)

We're dead set guaranteed to win this week. So it's a great chance to give Yarran another taste of AFL standard and give Warnock 50 - 60% game time and see how he goes.

Never ever take anything for granted.

Saints were dead set guaranteed to win last week as well...

Ins and outs.

Yarran/Robbo (pencil this in as a definite)
Hammer/Cloke (If fit which i doubt)
Warnock/Chief??:yikes:
Anderson/Armfield

Yarran gets the nod ahead of grigg only because of the way he performed last week:cyclonic conditons and a mediocre surface
and was in the ants best IMO.
Knockers and Hammer probably wont play but if they did........................

B: Russel Thornton Joseph
HB: Anderson Bower Scotland
C: Carrazzo Gibbs Simpson
HF: Walker Kreuzer Stevens
F: Yarran Fevola Betts
Foll: Hampson Judd Murphy
I/C Hadley Houlihan Setanta Warnock

Thoughts anyone?

They were favourites but hardly guaranteed. They were playing a team desperate to win. We are playing a team that is not a very good football team and is desperate to lose. Nothing is guaranteed in life but this is as close as you can get.

Does carlton have a sign saying 'Weddings ,Retirements,Anything'?
Other clubs seems to have us as the club of choice to play your last game against.(Robbo)

he'll play Rd 22 and he isn't retiring. He's just not playing for melb anymore. Whether someone drafts him is another question..

Very tall team with Kreuzer, Hammer, Warnock and Setants.

Would have to have prob two on the bench at any one time which limits midfield/etc rotations with the smaller players

Given the agility and athleticism of the 3 ruckman and the mobility of carlos i didnt think it would be a problem.

Carlos can play at either end and release mids like snot, tex and the like to rotate.

Match-up headaches for the opposition also.

I do understand where you are coming from though just like to hear other peoples thoughts.

Now I don't normally take any notice of dreams, but last night while I was asleep the Blues kicked 11 goals in the first quarter, with Fev kicking two in quick succession from outside 50.

I think it's good that Ratts has come out on record saying that we won't be taking them lightly and we need to keep the good form going.

I can't help thinking that this could get ugly with a margin topping 100 points, and finally I get to say that in a good way!

The railway/city side always fills up first, so if you want to sit on the wing go to the other side. Each end behind the goals usually has empty seats.

So we are guaranteed hey.........
I fully understand the situation....

If we are so guaranteed how much money are you putting on the Blues... 100 thousand?

..nothing is ever 100% [except death & taxes] but if the dee's hit the front, watch the rotations stop and the fruity match-ups begin.. ..keep a sharp eye out for Bailey wearing a blues scarf under his jacket..

This match might not be the walk in the park that many are expecting. Melbourne has had a pretty good record against us recently (but then, so has nearly every team).
