Was away umpiring in the local expat cricket league so missed all the action other than getting scores from text messages from a mate. Seems 1AW had a good game. For those that saw the game what did he do well? Excited about the possibilities of a fit, confident Andrew Walker as we hit September action.

Hit the packs hard, and did some good blocks for Juddy ! Had a really good game, and had some lovely runs today too ! All class, and will be a bonus come finals...

Williams displayed his lack of class once again.
Prior to the game he was bagging Carlton and accusing us of salary cap rorts with the Judd deal.

Such a shame to see his filthy team cop a 9 goal flogging. Suck it up Choco.

..agreed, nowadays you need his type of player in the middle.. ..it's not all about racking up the numbers, but in sayin' that,, he did rack up a few which is even better.. ..and great to have Walks' aggression back in the mix, and i've noticed how close he sticks to Juddy at times giving him blocks and opening up space, good partnership brewin' there..

..it's over the season, so at the end of the year it doesn't shift much.. ..it's why a good start to the year is so important, it's when percentages and made and broken.. ..as you know, we got off to a great start.. ..thanks tuggers..

Points for / points against x 100

So 2013 points for divided by 1783 points against x 100 = 112.8996

It gets harder to improve your percentage the longer the year goes on

 I don't post these days but watch the site avidly but I thought I would share with you that I went to the game yesterday. It was on a whim as a way of trying to deal with the death of my father. I flew out Saturday morning. I was so proud of our club to do so well in hostile territory, when Port had so much to play for and when they challenged us. It was tough with some Port supporters who really gave me the evil eye. What was their problem?

Well done boys. You did us all proud.

Sorry to hear about your dad zoneman. My condolences.

Was he a Blues fan? If so, he would have been happy.

You do know that isn't actually true, right?

A point for is worth as much in round 20 as round 1...as is a point against.

Nice to crush the Tigers' spirit early though

Blues were superb, great TEAM effort. Beating Port at Adelaide is a top effort! Very proud of the boys!

Chad Cornes made my day, when he was anywhere near the fence i was giving it to him, i hate that dud! I wish Murphy took that hanger on his head down our end, i reckon i would have jumped the fence and rubbed it in his face... gobbing off all week, what a clown. We were first row in the fwd pocket and i swear at one stage Cornes was walking back to take his kick and was staring down the Blues crowd... he is a d*&k

At the dodgy bookmakers at AAMI stadium they had Russell @ $101 to kick the first goal, i couldnt resist hahaha

Must smash Melbourne
