JR comes across as a smart type combine that with his physical attributes and desire to work hard, might take time but more likely to succeed than not. These days we expect them to superstars straight out of the box. Will be a 200 gamer premiership player ! :smoking:

..is accountable, and proviudes great run from defence.. ..two required traits for a HBF, and he's got a good size on him now too.. ..and starting his runs from in defence everything is open up ahead and he can just run, and provide an option..

Another good game from JR, looking much more confident with the ball. Cannot recall a single clanger

His 95% efficiency was the best on the day.

He's probably a better kick on his left than Simmo

Amazing how he now exudes confidence with the ball in his hands and when he is attacking the footy.

   for you JR. Keep turning out those consistent games.

Regards Cazzesman

From the day he was drafted hoped he'd make a good running HBF. Well on the way from what I've seen past few games. Please Ratts, just settle him there. A doubter thrilled to be proved wrong.

Bower, T-Bird, Jamo, Army, JR, Tex, AJ, Aussie - best backline group in AFL for next 5 years.

those dashes from defence and the demanding of the ball after giving it off and continuing to run were spectacularly good

and the precision to deliver as well

awesome stuff

hopefully this confidence continues to grow

The players have been instructed to play through Russell... so he isnt being instructed to be just a lock down player...

If that's the case the next thing he needs to get his head around is a player locking down on him. That would be ironic.

Well I think you could safely say that football supporters are by and large a fickle lot; keyboard junkies as opposed to astute football judges.

I am another confirmed doubter

Really enjoying being proven wrong these last few weeks and becoming hopeful of having my nose rubbed right in it.

Gee Carrots has come on too!
