Garlett was an IN last night and tonight He's not even an emergency.

Dont ask me why but Yarran has suddenly been put in as an emergency.

I reckon the team is well balanced. The extra run from the back is of more importance than height IMO. I would play Walker at CHF...

Dont think that aj will get westhoff haha. . .he'll get p. Burgoyne, pearce, or boak. . Only 3 worth any chop. . .armfield will get westhoff i think. . Austin also a good matchup if he plays (not that id be worrying about westhoff, just making the matchups)

This will be a VERY tough match.

Port have some good inclusions and players like Salopek, Burgoyne and Carr will be keen to impress after a spell in the reserves. No doubt they will come out all guns blazing in front of their fans and if we can remain focussed and get off to a good start, our class should prevail. The key is to get off to a GOOD START! No catch-up footy Blues!!

A lot of talk on how much better at home Port have been -
The only teams of note they have beaten at home that are not entrenched in the bottom six of the ladder are The Crows in Showdown 1 before the wizard Craig changed the game plan
Hawthorn who everyone is beating and Brisbane who have only won once away from home against Freo .

I was a tad concerned until I saw who they had actually beaten at home West Coast, Lions, Freo , Rich , Crows, Melb and Essendon- hardly stiring stuff

Surjan and Hartlett in doubt as they didn't look too good at training on friday apprently.

Surjan especially would be a handy out.

A 'good start' is what we need, sick of us having to play catch up all the time, let them play catch up for once!

True enough SB. Although for me it is more a word of caution that we need to be switched on, which we haven't always been. I think we should win and I agree that if you look at who they have beaten they haven't been the best teams this season, but half of our losses have come against that little lot that they have beaten at AAMI. We could flog them, but if we take them lightly we could be in strife. I still think we will win though
