I have lost my Carlton FC Premium Gold Adult 11 Membership Card.

Mods: are you able to sticky this thread for approximately a week so that people that may be returning from the game are aware that I have lost my card?

Details on the card are - Shaun Bla####, Level 2 of the MCG (N56) and Level 2 of Etihad Stadium (Aisle 32). If you have found this card please continue reading.

Somewhere between where I parked my car (in the Botanical Gardens - cnr of Anderson St and Domain Rd), and the MCG the plastic sleeve that contained my membership card on the end of the lanyard had fallen off and became lost.

I walked down Anderson St, then across the overpass over the freeway, walked between the new stadium being built and Gosch's Paddock, then crossed the road and over the old footbridge heading towards Gate 3. Only when I arrived at the Gate did I realise that I had the lanyard, with half the hook and no membership card.

If you have located my membership card could you please send me a private message or get in contact with the football club and return the card to their postal address.

So here I am writing this message, just got home in time to watch the game on 7 (will have to put up with Bruce and Denis... urgh!) but will treat the game as live - GO BLUES!

Please reply if you have had a similar occurence happen to you in the past - I am unsure whether the club will be able to send out a new membership card since the memberships have been closed for the year and we only have two home games left until the Finals Series.

Regards, Shaun (sticks1977)

Bad luck Shaun...hope someone finds it.

I lost my AFL card 2 weeks ago after entering Etihad stadium. AFL membership got a new one to me by end of week. (I did have to pay $25 bucks for a new card, but it was much easier than years gone by where you had to send in a Stat Dec).

Ring the membership dept 1st thing on Monday and get them to replace it.

That sucks Shaun.

Do as Caz suggests about ringing the club especially on the eve if the Finals.

The club will make your old barcode becomes null and void and give you a new one if someone tries to use it.

Thanks to all for the replies - I sent an Email off to the club and they replied this morning.

Had to give them a statutory declaration and credit card details for a replacement card - $20 fee. Should receive a new card before the Melbourne game.

Also noted while I was on hold that they are still taking applications for memberships due to our chances of playing finals this year.

Just received my replacement membership in the mail today - even sent in an express post envelope!

Thanks to all for replying and also for the club in acting quickly to get a replacement card out to me before the next few home matches.

Have learnt my lesson and will be keeping my membership in my backpack or in my wallet from now on before I arrive at the ground

Regards, Shaun (sticks1977)
