if we loose, i sure hope its by no more than by 2 goals, cause if we get flogged by 10+ goals and by a team with half o dozen star players
missing, that will really tell us where we're at.!!!!!!

And I would like to think that we are a better team than that !!!!!!

I'm with you BKB. Really like the way they have lined them up on paper this week. Probably won't line up like this, but backline is young, quick and attacking; scotto & murph will be damaging delivering from the wings; stevo & juddy swooping on the spills from big irish contests will be a handful. Gibbs Carrots & Hadley can break even in the middle and that will be good enough. Getting the right rotations through the middle I guess is the hard part.

Looking forward to this one.

If we win, the bandwagon will be overflowing like Niagara Falls.

If Geelong "let" us win.....does that effectively put Hawthorn out of the finals?

Even if we win, 8th position is still for the asking Pickle.

If true that the club knew that was the case (and someone here at TC posted the same before the teams were annonced), then that proves that the MC do read public forums. They didn't announce it because the forums would go into meltdown, and the discussion related to the MC would have been scathing.

If the MC think Cloke should replace an injured Setanta on a wet night then that's their call.

On last week's form and given the wet conditions, I would have suggested Grigg for Setanta.

I hope Setanta plays, but where there's smoke....

We need to try and stay close - not do what we did against Stklida and give them 7 goal start
We also don't want a flyer if we jump out at them that will just kick them into gear and they will run us down

We need to stay close and hope we can pinch it at the end - Law of averages says they have to lose a close one soon

I thought Cloke was alright in the wet - I am not sure but didn't start to rain when he booted 4 against Brissy

Cloke goes OK in the VFL (and that's about it)

With finals around the corner, I can't see him pushing the issue.

He played against the Lions so I would say he is due for a rest anyway.

Absolutely tipping down here (I'm an hour from the city), maybe we'll bring a small in if Setanta's out?
