I'm OK with Ratts he is learning but he is doing a lot better than the bloke he replaced

Ratts will take us to the next flag - He just needs a little tinkering in the box with him

I can see the development where you couldn't before - what ever happens for the rest of the year doesn't matter - He has sped up the development of some by getting valuable game time into them - It hasn't all been about winning this year .

But your only worried because we don't have a gameplan

SB I'm not worried at all...I'm merely pointing out what I see are our weaknesses and how we can get better....again it's just MO. Whether we have a gameplan or not is not going to give me sleepless nights...so relax and let's see what we do different tomorrow night cuz to win we have to do something different to what we have been doing...I'm sure you would agree? In any case I've a very good feeling about the game tomorrow.

..interesting, not just the 'no changes' aspect, but also how we line up on paper.. ..nowadays that counts for little, but i actually really like the look of that set-up.... ..to my way of thinking, the mids Hadley, Gibbs and Carrots will do one of two things.. ..either get a quick clearance, anywhere into space for murphy, snots to run in off wings, army and joseph to race onto off halfback, or stevo and juddles to run onto from half fwd.. ..or, they'll lock it in, cause a second stoppage and then our other on-ballers can get around the ruck contest, free of centre square limitations..

..what i'd do, is use the Hammer mostly in the middle with that set-up, and get him to belt it out into space for them all to run onto, totally negate the cats mids by knocking it past them, and onto the second contest..

I'm filthy there is no Jamison named, it upsets our routine and I've been getting some good mileage telling people I have a whisper of a late change.

When was the last time we beat a top 2 side? We will get flogged under the Friday night lights again by 6-7 goals.

Thanks for that. Here's me considering turning the telly on and watching the game but I won't bother now.

I thought Grigga banged (the door) pretty hard last week ?? I'd go him ahead of Scooter. But nothing much to complain about this week.

If we win it will be the greatest win this century for us. I'll go to the game with a 'you never know' attitude, I'll be hoping to hell we win as I haven't seen a Carlton win with my Geelong mate since THAT game.

If we win, I'll never have a bad word to say about Ratten's coaching again ... but at the end of the day we just aren't up to it when the challenge is hot.

It's up to us to see how far we go this season.

The Saints resting 5 has no bearing on us. We must go out tomorrow night with only one objective and that is to ensure that the Cats don't see us a pushover side.

We belong in the 8 and now is the time to prove that.

SB and J&K, can you please move the Ratts discussion to the Ratts Mk2 thread.
