Dissappointing news.
Fingers crossed he makes it back for the finals.

Huge loss if this proves to be the case.

Bad luck for Jammo, and the Blues, but I want him fit and firing with Waite and Warnock and Walker for season 2010.

Backline's looking a shadow of its former self. Take Waite and Jamo out, and you don't have a lot of quality left - apart from Thornton and a still-very-much-developing Bower.

Looks like the T-Bird forward line experiment may have just run its course.

John, I'd say that's Carlos' foray as a forward has come to an end too.

Our Centre-Half-Back and now our Full-Back go down for the year. Very disappointing and devastating really.

I basically means even if we make the finals, we will not go too far this year (even though that's something that we already knew)

Disappointing, but shite happens. Aints lose Maguire, Cats lose Egan - at least we have good depth back there and now Tex is back to help out. Phew.

Really rate Aussie, take it with both hands, son!

Talls down back of T-Bird, Bower, Aussie and Tex - I reckon we can get by OK and still keep Carlos forward. Joey has also stepped up pretty well this year and plays tall. Have faith!

Can't afford to lose anymore, though.

Agreed. Austin will be as good as Jamo one day

Interesting that they seem to think Anderson is a medium defender who can play tall as opposed to a small defender (which is what I always thought he was).

We've covered Jamo's loss the last three weeks reasonably well. I see no reason why we won't continue to do so. It will possibly mean O'Hailpin has to play back on the talls to allow allow Thornton the opportunity to play 3rd man, and leave Bower license to attack from CHB. I'd also be cool, with Walks settling into half-back for the rest of the season. But a tall/medium combo of Thornton, Bower, Austin, Walker looks okay to me.

Aussie will be a 200 game player for CFC.
Love his composure, balance and disposal.

..Aussie; like jamo, thorny and bower, it seems we've got good talls that can spoil and not give away 'over the shoulder' and 'chopping the arm' fouls.. .... ..sure, they will now and then, but in general i reckon they're below avg in regards to giving away free's in this regard....

The article doesnt really say much either way on Jamo. We'll have to wait till Friday. Would be a major plus if he can come up.

Time to put the guy away and let him get his abductor and shoulder right, and still have a pre season where he can bulk up some more.

Prefer a raring to go Jammo in 2010 than bringing him back underdone for finals this year.

Sad for Jamo, but life goes on in the AFL and as one door closes another door opens for Aussie and Carlos. 4 more games plus hopefully some finals will be great for both of them.

Get well soon Jamo.

Regards Cazzesman

It's the Carlos thing which also upsets me. He was really starting to look like he'd made a spot for himself across half forward.
