A ordinary peformance
Should have lost
Pathetic
We have lost our mojo that we shoed against the AINts

Maybe its too long a season for some of our players

No run no flow
Didnt sing the song
We simply got out of jail

Inrelation to Gibbs I was impressed and I have been a harsh critic
Hopefully in a bigger game next week he can show similar intensity

Stevens bar one pathetic marking attempt was better
Needs to back it up against a better team.

Overall a disappointing hollow victory

Pro: We won

Cons: Kick ins
Defending their kick ins
Forward line is a shambles. Fev is about the only player that can take a mark inside 50
Why is Betts our CHF?

more importantly, why do players, on numerous occasions, believe betts will be able to OUTMARK his opponents in a two on one situation.

PROS
4 points
Bower and TBird courage
Gibbs silky skills
Aussie beaten by bigger opponents but showed good courage
Robbo - mad but chases hard and often

PRONS
Setanta showed flexibility in being able to go back and do an okay job on Petrie but needs to be more aware and to create options when we have the ball. Looked about half fit
Stevo very good but why does he have to spend 4 weeks in the 2s to elicit that sort of response, should play like that each week
Hadley, great courage and toughness but is about the slowest player in the league and a poor kick. Yet another recruit from another club that we didn't look at before we got him. Injury prone guys with no pace who play mainly in the Ants aren't going to take us forward, much as there is a lot to admire about his character
Hammer makes mistakes but is getting better slowly
Fev could have kicked 7 but wayward
Army great endeavour terrible disposal

CONS
We have no game plan, we run around like headless chooks and don't know where to run how to shepherd etc. How can anyone say our coach is doing a great job when 2 years into the job no-one seems to know what they are doing
Why can't the coach inspire the players to play with intensity when finals are on the line?
People taking solace from us beating North despite the Simpson factor. What is that? North can only play to their best, is it unfair if bottom sides actually try against us?
Kicking and handballing to team mates feet or over their heads
Slaughtered in the middle early
On that form Geelong will beat us by about 1000 points, look forward to to the comedy hour game plan we come up with for the Cats

CON: Eddie should have played under Fev's feet last night. So many times we got the break and the ball in quick (delivered shit to fev mind you) were our bets small forward and second highest goal kicker was no where to be seen. Our forward structure last night was horrible. No crumbers

Pros:
We got the 4 pts.
Gibbs' class and composure..
Murphy, 4 goals and gutsy effort in the middle.
Fev: Very dangerous, should have had 6 or 7. finished with 3.4.. Don't know what it says about us but he was one of our best last night!
Stevens: Playing like we now he can play and should play! Very good game but we expect that more from him!
Thornton: Having a very fine season.
That's about it...

Cons:
Intensity or lack of it.
Tackling was non-existant.
Slow!
Fev's kicking for goal.
Simpson's 13 touches. What's with this guy?? Racks up big numbers one week, barely noticable the next.. If he's going to get himself to the next level in his performance, which I think he's capable of, he has a bit of work to do!
We should have lost to a bottom 4 team. Giving ourselves a big reputation this year as SOFT. Soft physically and soft mentally.
When are the others going to stand up and be counted?? Judd can't do it every week!

PROS

We won. 4 pts. 10 wins. 2 to go
We won a very tough game
Gibbs Murphy Kreuzer
We are developing Austin and Robinson
Intensity at the contest was very good
Stevens is back
Walker is back
Thornton looking good forward
Hadley is so important in the clinches (terrible disposal though)
Fevola was very good (kicked badly)

CONS

We need Armfield and Hadley in the team
Lack of run from backline. (What's Scotland's role?)
Not enough run outside the contests.
We are not playing as well as we did in the preseason (gone backwards?)
Took too long to move Setanta onto Petrie and McIntosh when they were forward.

Pros
A win is a win
Murph
Gibbs
Kruez
Armfield
TBird
At least the rest of the weekend is not in the toilet due to another embarrassing Fri night loss

Cons
A longer list which sucks considering we won
No gameplan
No endeavour
Our pathetic singing of the song after the game
Scotland - drop him for the rest of the season
Stevens, was going to be in the Pros but no point looking like a superstar if you continually ignore your player. Who the hell was he on
anyway?
Our lack of heart and intensity
Feels worse when you win and played like that

Call me what ever you like but if i were in charge the next two players who do that explosive salute after a goal will sit on the bench. GET OVER YOURSELVES!

And no patting players on the back after they do something good for the team. They should be expected to do good for the team. And anyone in the crowd cheering goals should just go home. We dont need that ! Anyone being happy after a win also make me sick.

Pros:

Murphy, Gibbs, Stevo, Thornton, Fev, Armfield.
Kreuzer and Judd in the second half.
I still think Hadley makes a real difference in the clinches, when we can prevent him being exploited out in space.
Robbo was important in the last 10 minutes.

Cons:

Our lack of hard running in the first half, both offensively and defensively.
Scotland is really struggling.

Luckily for Mark Thompson he's wrapped Joel Selwood in cotton wool and eased him through the season....hang on, no he hasn't.

Pros:

Hadley - has to play despite poor disposal at times. If it wasn't for Hadley in the middle in the 2nd half, Judd couldn't have gone forward. Hadley won some clearances (which Judd otherwise would have won).

Stevens - hopefully his attitude is much improved now. We must play skillful players.

Gibbs - his use of the ball sets up goals.

Ratts - for moving Judd and T-bird up forward. At least some moves albeit reactionary.

Cons:

Kick-ins - what a disgrace. Why is Armfield taking a kick-in?

Structure - don't play with any purpose.

Pros
Lucky win
Murphy
Gibbs
Walker unscathed
Stevens
Thorntons courage

Cons
Shocking disposal again
Betts
Umpires
Turnovers
Crumble under pressure
Game plan (if we have one)

overall a terrible game which were very lucky to win. Dont know what is going on, why cant we play like we did early in the season?

From watching the game on TV

Pros

Steady development of young players:

Hampson
Russell
Austin
Bower
Joseph
Robinson
Armfield
Gibbs
Kreuzer

Courage of Thornton and Bower coming back on after getting smashed.

The way Stevens returned from Coventry

Cons

Agree with Matthews and Buckley it took till the third quarter for other players to give Judd decent help with Greenwood.

Over the top celebration by goal kicker - smacks of "Look at me!"
