Its bullshit how we fluff our kick ins all the time. How many goals did we give them by coughing the ball up on the last line of defence.

Umpiring - Dont get me started.

Us - Lucky, but for once we were lucky. The simpson factor was massive, but geez we need to get some passion and hunger in our game.

I'll take an ugly win any day of the week particularly when the umps clearly have another agenda. Having said that WE HAVE TO DO SOMETHING ABOUGHT THE KICK-INS AND DEFENCE OF SAME!

I suspect you can lay the blame on lazy football. Nobody seems prepared to offer an option other than the soft touch deep into the pocket!

When the game is reversed the ball seems to rebound quickly out of the oppositions defense to a fast lead.

Pretty simple really but we cannot seem to master it.

Main problem number 2 seems to be that everybody at the centre bounce is so pre-occupied with picking someone else up that nobody feels that they need to get the ball.

What is wrong with trusting your ability and being the attacker?

To be fair to the M.C. it was a real disadvantage to lose your CHB and FB in the same incident early in the match.

Both players struggled for most of the game and should be applauded for the finish that they put in.

This and the loss of Jammo must have really thrown the match-ups!

I see a pattern emerging. Both Richmond and the Kangaroos don't want to win, so when they know they are going to flog us, they kick points!!

Just stirring

Not happy with the lazy ar$ed midfielders in the first half. Absolutely no run whatsoever.

Riley looked like he was giving them a decent spray at half time and what do you no they played on at every opportunity after that.

Is it just me but I HATE ADAM SIMPSON.

So glad we beat these idiots, by however means necessary. They are a bunch of pretenders who so happens to fluke their way each week. As much as they kicked heaps of points in the last, we missed many goals from 30 metres out and gave up plenty of goals by stupid kick ins.

Mate, they were hell bent on winning. If it wasn't Simpsons last game he wouldn't have played. They wanted it badly.

He was having a hard time getting into the game. Greenwood, I think, was tagging him very closely.

Ever since 1999 they've pretended to be some sort of premiership threat. In ten years they've done nothing! Adam Simpson lost tonight.

North lost for the NINTH TIME IN A ROW!

Yes!

Are you serious? He and Special K are our best second effort players by so far it is embarrassing.

Sure, Mitch is still learning the game at this level, but his willingness to put his body on the line is enough for me.

Oh yeah, and in the first half, most of our team were playing pretty shit. A bit tough to single out a young guy busting his gut.

Took himself out of the play with ridiculous efforts. I too appreciate his ability to make the second effort and to do the hard stuff, but that wasn't evident in his play tonight.

I personally feel Ratts brought him back in hoping he would rekindle his form from earlier in the season. I'd like to see how much time he spent on ground, I feel it may have been under 40%, which is definitely a liability.

Having said that, I obviously didn't get to see all his work away from the ball.

Hammer was good at the ruck contests, which is his primary role. Anything he can do beyond that is typically more than Jacobs can do.
