This is NOT the easy win we had previously though this game to be.

3 weeks ago, i penciled this game down as a certain win, now - i ain't so sure. Especially after the piss-weak effort on friday night.

And now, with favourite son Adam Simpson announcing his retirement, this game is gonna be tough.

Hell, i'm even questioning if we deserve to start favourites?

Our chances of winning are even less now, Adam Simpson is playing his final game this Friday night.

We are really missing his quality finishing and class. We need him back, as of this week. Bentley can make way. So could a few others.

So his final game will be a loss - don't worry we will win this one - Fev to kick 6

Ins: Stevens, Walker, Wiggins (maybe his last game too), Sauce/ Cloke

Outs: Johnston, Bentley, Fisher, Hampson (rubberchest)

Nth Melbourne v Carlton matchday thread would be a good place to put this unless you are really desparate to be noticed. By the way I agree with you.

Are you guys joking?

I wasn't too confident before friday night as I thought the Pies might come out breathing fire but this week I have no worries at all.

The Roos have been TERRIBLE this year they have a percentage of 78, which is comparable to some of our shocking years.

They havent won a game since defeating fremantle in Melbourne 8 weeks ago!

They are also dead last in points for with no reliable forwards and on top of that they have no full-back which saw Jonothan Brown kick 8 goals against them last week (and they didnt even have Bradshaw to worry about)

Im tipping us to win by 40+ Fev to kick 6 (at least)

INS: Walker, Stevens, Jamison, Garlett, O'hAilpin (hopefully)

OUTS: Johnson, Bentley, Hartlett, Yarran, Fisher

Plus we belted them pre-season when they had only a handful out.

Circa 40 pt win, I'd say. Would have said 60 pts, but the "Simpson" factor may mean a few cheap goals for them at the end...

Tex Walker back, worth going just for that. His influence on this playing group will be enormous.

These infidels are nothing short of back against the wall, call to arms, mob of schlong suckers....

Join, we need members, help save the Roos. Here's a tip you mob of morons. You should have [REDACTED] off to the
Gold Coast when you had the chance, cos your members don't give a shit as they haven't resigned....

I hate North Melbourne. Nothing but a mob of oompah loompah's.....

Carlton will SMASH them. Absolutely give them a flogging.

Blues by 82 points....

Be good practice for when we trade him.

..i agree with most, but Carrots..?.. ..no way can we drop him.. [unless inj]

..also, now that i look at it.. .sure, i can see why the idea of Mitch is good, as is Garlett [he still able to play seniors?].. ..but now that Yaz is in, possibly keep him on. ...and no the field for some good time too.. ..and if he's not getting near it up fwd, switch him down back.. ..so, umm.. ..not sure how much i agree..hahaha..
