He's been one of our real consistent performers over the dark years.

He was enthusiastic, joyous and a real leader...

What has happened?

Just looks frustrated and hesitant now...

Why?

Well according to one sage poster on here its because he thinks our coach
is a tosser, end of story.

i think part of it is actually that he is starting to realise his body cant do
what it used to do, and he can just lag off and pick up a lazy soft 30
touches with no more accountability involved.
You could never ever question his courage though, and may just be the
penny dropping with him that the end is looming large, probably quicker than
he (or most of us) would have expected.

the senior players hated Pagan - get rid of the coach

the senior players hate Ratts - get rid of the coach

rather Richmondesque really

No. But Afghanistan is.

I've been a little bit unhappy re: his performances this season.

His insipid 'attack' on the ball and being away from his favoured sweep-round-the-back-for-a-handball is what his problem is.... If he was brought back in and Stevens left in the wilderness, how terrible is stevo going?

Robinson, Walker, Armfield, Browne, Hadley. All would have to rate their chances at replacing Scotland by the time September rolls around.

He was abysmal last night.
Spent his time expecting his team mates to pick up his opponent so he could run around free.

It's been his specialty for years.

That would have to be Ratts' fault, wouldn't it?

Possibly. He could have gone in for the op mid season but it was decided to do it after the season............ why?

So Ratts defied medical opinion and said lets play him until the season ends and then put him in for ops so that he misses most of the pre-season so that he can have interrupted start to the season to ensure that he benefits the club with no fitness base.

He's been paid handsomely to play one way footy for years. I'll be glad to see the back of him. I've never understood why he doesn't get the same treatment from fans as Houla.

No doubt camel, but he's never been pushed deep into defence all season, so he hasn't been asked to do anything that any other player on the ground isn't expected to do. He's just not doing it consistently.

When it's your turn, you fight to win the ball; if you're not doing that, get out.

I'd be playing Scotland with burst on ball, get him out of the backline and start using his ball winning ability, disposal and hardness to it's best advantage for the team.

Having Scotland's opponent roam free through the middle isn't to our advantage.

Why do these threads only ever come up after a bad loss?
