Well according to one sage poster on here its because he thinks our coach
is a tosser, end of story.

i think part of it is actually that he is starting to realise his body cant do
what it used to do, and he can just lag off and pick up a lazy soft 30
touches with no more accountability involved.
You could never ever question his courage though, and may just be the
penny dropping with him that the end is looming large, probably quicker than
he (or most of us) would have expected.

Possibly. He could have gone in for the op mid season but it was decided to do it after the season............ why?

So Ratts defied medical opinion and said lets play him until the season ends and then put him in for ops so that he misses most of the pre-season so that he can have interrupted start to the season to ensure that he benefits the club with no fitness base.

He's been paid handsomely to play one way footy for years. I'll be glad to see the back of him. I've never understood why he doesn't get the same treatment from fans as Houla.

No doubt camel, but he's never been pushed deep into defence all season, so he hasn't been asked to do anything that any other player on the ground isn't expected to do. He's just not doing it consistently.

I'd be playing Scotland with burst on ball, get him out of the backline and start using his ball winning ability, disposal and hardness to it's best advantage for the team.

Having Scotland's opponent roam free through the middle isn't to our advantage.
