What I want to know is, at the beginning of the year I am sure I heard that Carlton will accept nothing less than playing finals for 2009.

If we dont play finals in 2009, will Ratten step down ??????

Well thats the thing .. if we don't make finals we have failed and questions need to be asked by the board of Ratten about won't went wrong. I guess we have to wait 5 more weeks to find out, we now need 3 wins in 5 games.

That is correct Syd Blue. If you look at our list and compare with those seriously contending this season and the top teams for the past 5 you realise that our core of young guns need to get more games and age/maturity into them before we can consistently produce.

2012 -2013 Until then enjoy the ups and downs of a young developing side.

I have never watched Carlton lose before. Now that I have, I am never going for them again. They SUCK!

I hate teams that lose. Carlton are SHIT!

I wanna go for a team that wins all the time. YAY!

Isn't this a breach of the rules of winding up other posters?

There disposal was just terrible - Cant question their effort just the turn overs were horrible

Hampson dropped 4 sitters tonight coughed the ball up twice with errant handballs - all his mistakes resulted in goals to them

Lesson for recruiters - pick footballers

Thorton was our best and Jospeh and Bower tried their guts out

Cloke would have been better than Hartlett - every ordinary game from Adam

And Fev proved once again why we will never go anywhere with out another forward target

Fish was ordinary
Yarren very quiet
Betts patchy
Gibbs costly at times but gathered plenty of the ball
Russel average
Bentley not up to it

Johnsons disposal is terrible cnt think of how he was recruited for his kicking

We will struggle to make the 8 and are 2 years away from being a serious contender

PERFECT!

Had some good wins against good sides, some close losses and a couple of shockers. This was unexpected? Of course it was, we have to win all 22 games or we're all no good and the coach has to be sacked. People do though give u a laugh.

Some on here must be rejects from Bitchmond.

LISTEN TO THE PLAYERS.

Which players and what are they saying? Or does it boil down to bitching by a couple of older players who are at the tailend of their careers?

How much is Buckley a tosser, listening to him on the aftergame, you would think Collingwood have just won 7 premierships in a row.
Buckley is a tosser of the highest magnitude.

I'd still have him as coach over Brett Ratten.

If you can podcast the interview with Ratten on 3AW during the week you'd understand why i say this. Bucks asked Ratts a few 'tactical' questions to which Ratts had no idea how to answer and went on ranting on about something else.

Thanks for the psychoanalysis.

This thread is for venting one's spleen. It's odd you single out someone for doing exactly that.

You'd be well advised to make a hasty retreat and let the hystericals have the floor.

I thought you were leaving the site Melvey? Or to view without posting?

Or just waiting for us to stuff up again, to grind it in when we all feel really low?

From round 1 2005 to round 22 2007 we won 11 games.

Since then we've won 19.

Pagan 11 wins in 3 years, Ratten 19 in two with more to come hopefully in 2009.

It's simple maths that escapes simple minds.

Simplistic, not simple.

I heard the overweight player copped an awful spray after the Essendon* game from one of the games best. The reason for the out of character spray was not disclosed.
