Nice one.
I actually thought Garlett's breakaway, bounce and pass to Fev might have got a look in as well. Fev kicked that magic goal but it was Garlett who did the flashy stuff to get it to him.

Round 16 and a young Chris Yarran provided a massive highlight for us.

A good read - thanks Molsey.

Yarran sounds very articulate - no ums and ahs in that Q&A.

Umms and ahhhs are edited out - our spellcheckers says they're not real words.

In terms of the grand scale of Carlton articulation, there'd be Hampson, then Russell, Jamison, probably Murphy, daylight, the rest.

As long as it's in the privacy of your own bedroom I don't see why anyone should have a problem.

Thornton wins for his rock like status last week.

The M&D Curse struck again in Round 17 when the Round 16 winner, yarran, was promptly dumped!

It's not just that it's his 100th loss, it's that he is the fastest Blue to hit the 100 losses:

We seemed to be blocking for Judd and Murphy almost as much as Geelong were blocking for Ablett and Selwood. Has the team concentrated on protecting each other more over this year?

As midfield Coach, Mark Riley has been promoting this more and more. With Juddy as our best player and Murphy getting more attention, the focus has been on this in the midfield group over the last couple of weeks. With Juddy getting heavily tagged by Greenwood the other week we’ve had to. One of our statisticians is now focussing on this point and depending on the match-ups he tracks who blocks for Juddy or Murphy.

I liked this, hopefully our efforts in this area will now continue to improve

Fantastic read and great to hear we are finally blocking for the great men.

Although he played a great game prob his best for the club i would have thought that the Hammer was POTW for mine.
His effort to back back and polax himself which in turn created a goal was amazing to see.
For all you Russell lovers i'm not bagging him and this is just my opinion.

I thought it was Play Of The Week not Game of the week.
