2. Anderson's flexibility.
Anderson has pace but can play pretty tall. He is an interesting combination, and while you're all dropping him for this week, I thought he was very good in the second half. He allowed Ratten defensive flexibility and the reshuffle that we needed after hartlett got beaten by White.

Interesting comment.

In terms of athleticism, Anderson and Joseph would be our best options as small/medium defenders (assuming that we want to play Walker, Grigg and Russell further up the field). Anderson is never going to have super skills, but if he can get them up to a reasonable level, he'd be a good resource to have on our list. Until then, he really needs to be able to do the 'absolute shutdown' on dangerous forwards, to deserve a place in the team.

I'd never really considered that Anderson can play a bit 'tall'. But if so, that would certainly give him an extra string to his bow.

He needs to get some boots with long stops.
His inability to stay in a contest without falling over was driving me nuts.

..just on that, surely the club would have multiple pairs of diff boots for each player at every match shouldn't they..??..
