I agree. I've never asked for the discontented to shutup, I've only ever asked them to be reasonable with what they ask and what they say, and the way it's expressed.

Everyone can, and should, express their opinions, but you have to expect to be called on it every so often, and be able to back your stance up.

I'll just settle for pointing out what you think is wrong with their statements and having a few laughs at the sillier stuff. You can't make people do what you see as reasonable. Reasonable has different meanings for different people for a start

The key for everyone is not to get uptight about comments on a forum. It should be water off a ducks back, although some of the funnier posts have been a consequence of someone spitting the dummy

Totally agree that if you are going to write something you should be able to back it up and those that get outraged at having to do so are pretty much saying "I've got nothing"

Well...I think we covered the Ratts "Yes he can" "No he can't" in the first few pages and in previous threads. We have just been padding out the thread since Indulge us

This thread should be closed on the same basis that TalkingPlayers was closed. Circular arguments and pot shots.

They have already closed Ratts is a dud threads before, for those very reasons. Even some of the jokes have been the same in some of the threads (more groundhog day). There have been a few contradictions from thread to thread that have been funny, but probably not enough to justify our obsession with the topic. Moths to a flame for some myself included

For those with a bit more common sense Ratts threads should be avoided like the plague

I guess we are just a self indulgent lot
