Pros
Krooooooooozer! His second efforts are fantastic.
Able to change the terms on which the game was played.
We ran and ran and ran.
Didn't take out feet off the pedal, 10 goal win is fantastic way to exorcise some demons.
15 goals to 3 in the second half, including 9 in the last quarter.
T-bird and Bower really put their bodies on the line when were under the pump.
Couple of flashes of brilliance from Yarran.

Cons
Rubbish 2nd quarter.
Murph and Gibbs need to get better when we are playing poor football. They're great when we're winning but often missing when we're not.

For emphasis on how big it was I'm only listing one pro.

Yarran's goal.

Agree with Camel.

But add to that:

PRO:
The lift in the 2nd half.
Different routes to goal than Fev who was well (read illegally) held.

Con:
We play too reactionary at times, and let the opposition dictate the terms too often. That will cost us big time against the better teams.

Pros

15 goals to 2 after half time

some of the lesser lights:

Anderson - very good with a couple of blemishes
Yarran - not a big game, but competed ok, and what he did was sweet
Bentley - was competitive - gave us something when needed in the 3rd
Hampson - delicious - might have a dominant ruckman here
Houlihan was good in close and outside

Cons

First half

Hartlett
Scotland
Grigg
all struggled through the game

Pros
Judd and Kade Simpson
Kruez - looked great today
No Nick Stevens required.
Rubbed the swans noses in it. Goaless last quarter
3 in a row.
Anderson and Bentley did their jobs
Carazzo surely cant be passed over this week for NRS

Cons
1st half had some real replays in my mind of the previous game in Sydney
Goodes killed us and thankgod Gibbs was switched off him - wasnt working - regconised and much better 2nd half

Pro:
The defence stood up really well under some pressure towards the end of the last, but didn't blot their copybook. A goalless last quarter by the Swans, and only 3 in the 2nd half is impressive.

Pros

We beat a bottom team like we should have after a shaky first half.

Cons

Joe and Isaac ringing up 3AW and potting Houlihan, Anderson, Bentley and a few others.

They'll take my rubbish away tomorrow.

He actually applied defensive pressure and did some great work in the last quarter

Pro FIghting back when it looked like their experience was going to get the better of us
Fev- Great team game and kicked five. Nice leads up the wing in a CHF type role.
Murphy and Gibbs fighting back after shocking first halfs.
The momentum gained for next week
Thorntons adaptability
Got some game time into Yaz and Anderson
Kroozer will carry our club for years to come
Johnson Bentley Russell all have good games
Fev cleaning up a Swan and making it clear to anyone who dares get in his way that they will get hurt.

Cons Unclean early under extreme pressure
Not a good game from hartlett at either end
Scotland looked off the pace
Goal from the ballup at the end of the third. Third man up would have been nice.

Pro
Hammer starting to hit to advantage
Hoops brilliant today
Simpson is our barometer when he steps up we win
Fev was good
Great purple patch from fish ( should have kicked 4 )
Krooze is killing them
Ratts simply out coached the Sydney brains trust after half time- he got his match up right and it was game over

We beat them by 61 and all the Essendon* lovers here they could only beat them by 35

Cons
Murphy 3 turnovers in the the first what the hell was that
We need another forward target
We struggle against tall forwards

Was listening online from Fiji!

Pros
really REALLY happy that we kept going hard until the end!
great comeback & turnaround from everyone, including the coach who I not happy with at half time!
gibbs lifted himself & sounded like this helped trigger the revival (amongst others)
sounds like houlihan may have got a good scare from stevens/scotland being dropped
judd, fev, gibbs, simpson, carazzo, kreuz, anderson, yarran, fisher, houla... even sounded like bentley was ok.
my wife did as she was told and did not move from the lounge after we kicked the first couple in the final quarter!

Cons
still concerned with strategies in first half - sounded (again) like we had a congested forward line while opposition's forward line was open (this has been a feature in several games that we have lost this season). we need to improve this to improve long term - this should not be dependant on having our best team on the park.
hartlett - time to sign his papers.
rex hunt's TERRIBLE call - he kept getting names wrong, not knowing several at all, i had no idea where the ball was much of the time and he leaps over passages of play ("gibbs takes the ball and goodes kicks it...").

Pros:

1- Houlihan: Played his best Game of the year... Was back to his old Silky Skills and hitting Fev with amazing accuracy....Also for the very first time, he put his body on the line and got some contested positions.

2- Yarran : Showed bits and pieces of some magic. his Goal in the last Quarter was electric. Something Gartlet would not be able to do if compared.

3- Kruz : Great Game....

4- Fisher: was OK... Kicked 3 goals in a Row in 10 min and was lively all day. He did not get exposed too much at ground level because the Sydney Defenders were too heavy themselves.

5- Bentley : Was OK. put his body on the line and held up the play at many Stopages. Probably saved himself for another week

Cons:

1- Hartlett: Looked out of sorts and Must be Dropped next week.

2- Russell : Quite game with only 12 touches. Needed to do more

3- Joseph: Surely, he needs a rest... He only managed two touches in the entire game. He is Spent... Stevens or Walker needs to come in for him next week.

4- Costly turnovers and a couple of silly mistakes by experienced players, especially Murphy who was very rusty in the 1st half.

While I agree that he was quiet, I thought his touches and disposals were very good. Especially in the first half when the usual suspects were well below their best.

CON:

Murphy and Gibbs had a really slow start. They'll need to iron that out of their game against the better teams.
