I think people talk the Swans down way too quickly. The core of the team which one the flag is still there. They have a massive core of experience, seasoned, strong bodies, and are well drilled in their gameplan. They've been written off for years, but have made the finals for 7 years straight.

We beat a team which was more than capable of winning today.

Makes it all the better, for mine.

He's never going to be a star, but he's a no-nonsense player. Don't hate him like other Swans.

Great win by the Blues, we needed the percentage too....

Paul Roos looked stressed when Sydney came back , and relaxed when we pulled away in the last.....Go figure.

The vast majority of Victorians wouldn't have one iota of a clue about non-Victorian teams.

Ah. That explains why he was coughing up blood without head trauma. :\

Old Xav'er like myself is Ted. Didn't have a lot of dealings with him, but a nice guy.

PLEASE,

Stop complaining about umpires.

All through the thread - "umpires hopeless" "no holding the balls against them" etc.

Free kicks 15 -10 our way.

It's annoying (like listening to Essendon* supporters last night).

If you people were umpiring it would be frees 70-3.

Has anyone on this site ever umpired a game of Aussie rules?

People were complaining about the umpiring full stop kkk; not that it was biased.

Plenty of awful decisions both ways.

Yeah, I have.

And my son's team won with 70-3 of the frees out in the backyard.

What he said.

The umpiring was confused and ridiculous, and several times through the match, I honestly had zero idea of what was being paid, both ways.

Wojee said it best: Umpirelotto™.
