On a side note, Carrazzo should be a NRS, maybe this week.

Yes.

When you are bred from the sperm of Ross, there are no other options.

No Bryce isn't, but he is more likely to be a star by the end of his career than I am to eat stinky century old eggs.

He'd be a star if he played for someone else, I suspect

Just proves how one eyed half of you are. No way is Gibbs a star, has the potential but is no star of the AFL.

Depends. I hear Richardson is on the move so he'd probably have to go wherever he does.

I guess it all depends on who you are comparing him against.

Compare him to his 20 yr old peers and he is certainly near the top of the field.

Compare him to a 25yr old and he is mid range.

Compare him to Juddy and he has a long way to go.

I'm just excited he plays for the Blues and I can cheer him on every week for the next 12-14 years. He's a player I want to pay to see play. I really could care less about comparing him to others. I just want him to have an injury free, consistent career and be a player who ends up with a 4 or 5 premiership medallions, 4 or 5 B&F's and a Brownlow or 3.

Surely not toooooo much to ask

Regards Cazzesman

That's exactly right. Gibbs is a good player now, who can dominate parts of games. If we compare him to other players his age, he is near the top of the tree.

He's not a star yet, as Judd or Bartel is, but he is on his way. Looking forward to the next few years when Gibbs, Murphy and Krooze all start really hitting their straps.

I expected him to end the year a top 40-50 player. Don't think he's quite there yet. I'd guess he'd be 70-something. And yes there is a difference.

As with a lot of young players, his best is definitely in star category.

His consistency and ability to be productive even when being well held is far from it.

I don't ever think 'gee, shoulda picked Hansen'...

moving along just nicely

he is where I expected him to be

just wonder how he would be going if he played in a team like Geelong ... noticed it took Selwood around a half a game to get his first kick against Brisbane ... Geelong lost ... oh funny about that ... not funny that Geelong lost but Selwood got a taste of what it is like to play for a team that is well beaten.
