No wonder they've turned into a team full of diving wankers then.

There's no doubt in my mind that Fev has some issues with gambling... To what extend I'm not sure, but his behaviour at times is typical of your average C.U.B (Cashed Up Bogan)..

He's obviously hooked on it from his Footy Show comments, and if it was part of the reason behind him and Alex splitting then it's a very real problem that he needs to address before it consumes him.

I also hadnt heard any of the rumours about throwing matches, but had heard Fevs gambling was why his marriage broke up. It hasnt been a good couple of days for the club. Yesterday all day SEN had the topic of Judd/Visy deal and of course Carlton were cheating and have always been cheats. Not what we really need right now.

Also dont know about the throwing matches, and that would be very hard to prove. I highly doubt this is true....
[edit]

Funny how it is coming up now.

People, he plays for Carlton, so he must be throwing matches, because that's cheating and is all we do. Case closed, end of story.

I should work for the hun

How about making it rule .303?

Luckily no one listens to SEN.

Except me.

For the Ads.

Watching Fev on the show I got the impression he was more playing up to Newman because of his goading antics. He seemed to me to know that Newman was trying to get to him so played along with it.

I loved it when Fev threw it back in his face about the "road rage incident"

At any rate - if Fev has a gambling problem, Im sure the club would be doing everything in their power to help him out. That combined with Alex support and he will be fine.

That is really good news, and i'm sure it was extremely tough for you to do. Any advice for fev,and others that might have a problem?

He will want to be made of some special stuff not to let this get to him.
Every time he approaches a contest people will be judging his commitment on whether or not he has had a punt on the outcome. If he chucks the sads people will say he is throwing the game - IF he plays out of his skin they will be saying he has backed himself in

Everything he does on the football field now will come into question

I don't think he did himself any favours last night. Even with the help of his mates, he still looked very nervous and jittery.

I flip a coin before he plays anyway to see which Fev will turn up, nothing changes for me.

Maybe it's all Eddie's fault?
