So will Bentley join Balkwill as the only players in history who had their only wins for Carlton without wearing the Old Dark Navy Blue?

Balkwill is now a primary school teacher and greatly laments the fact he never played in the true Navy Blue, although he's still proud to have sung the song with some champions and loves telling the story of his debut.

Didn't Bentley play in the Hawthorn loss earlier in the season?

My mistake, important word being win...

Balkwill>>>>>Bentley.......tha latter owed his game in yellow only to the fact that the MC wanted to send a message to some senior players that more effort was required.

I think Balkwill kicked a behind from about 40 metres out on his left foot against the Crows.

Ross Young as well?? Or maybe he didn't play in a win but I thought he only wore the white.

Nice call, womack, I just checked the Blueseum and cant find Young actually playing in a winning Carlton outfit? Same as Jackson I guess - he played 9 games over 3 years without a win, the poor fella.

Balkwill and Nelson - both recieved for Brent Heaver - theoretically the greatest trade of all time - 2 players for Brent Heaver - the mind boggles - would have been even more astounding if they were any good
